Back in 2012, Dave Scott and Steve Parnell formed a groundwork and civil engineering merchant, now known as Scott Parnell. They had both worked together before but saw a gap in the market for a smaller independent merchant with high levels of product knowledge. Within just six months the company expanded to its second branch in Milton Keynes, their success down to the contacts that they established over 15 years at previous companies.

Having built key relationships with a huge range of suppliers, Scott Parnell was supported from the outset by several of them. They put their rapid expansion down to this, as well as their loyal customer base and fantastic team. Scott Parnell have now expanded further, into Wales, to continue to grow their footprint further.

In 2017, Scott Parnell’s 4th year of trading, the company now turns over £22m and employs more than 40 members of staff across their three branches. By focusing specifically on civil engineering, Scott Parnell provides outstanding knowledge in its field as well as a personal service to all its clients at a competitive rate, which has earned their fantastic reputation in the industry.
