A Sunday well spent brings a week of content 🤤

Wonderful Sunday lunch yesterday. Friendly, efficient, helpful and attentive service. Lovely tasty food and plenty of it.

We've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience or anything to complain about!

Love the new, comfy dining chairs too!

Went for a celebratory meal tonight. What an amazing meal my wife and I had! The standard is better than most restaurants we have visited in the past and the service was exemplary. All the staff were friendly and lovely and the whole ambience made our evening special. Can’t wait to return and try more delicious meals! They fully deserve 5 stars.

We visited once again, and it was on Burns night,

We had not booked, they we’re extremely busy,

But the staff were lovely and made us very welcome.

We ate here on sunday and absolutely loved everything, the food was fantastic and the pub is self is excellent, I have just booked in for a meal with all the family on Christmas eve.

Visited today for the first time today, it's a lovely village pub and the food was amazing.

We both had Sunday lunch the lamb & beef and both were delicious then we follwed with hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream for dessert and that too was amazing

We will return as both really enjoyed it

Visited the Scotts Arms for a birthday meal with the rest of the family back in May and had the most delicious pork belly with mash and black pudding. Tender, tasty and mouth-wateringly moist pork, the crispy crackling and creamy mash all added to the perfect mix of flavours. Friendly staff and welcoming landlord made it a memorable experience. My sister lives locally in Linton so we've been here a few times in the past and never had a bad meal. We always make the effort to pop in at some point over the festive period when the pub is beautifully decorated, the logs fires are warm and inviting, and the guest ales go down a little too quickly! � Love this place. I have being coming here for many many years now. Never had a bad word to say about the service or the food and always has family and friends a like talking about what they had chosen for days after. Would recommend to everyone.

Excellent food, excellent service, quiet on a Tuesday night but the staff were attentive and ensured everyone enjoyed their delicious meal. Great selection of beers. Couldn’t fault it.

Delicious Roasts, especially roast potatoes and red cabbage. Worth the trips. We will definitely come back. Also great awareness for gluten free. Would be nice if can add bit more gluten food choices.

Very busy, but got seated straight away, good service though out, Sunday lunch very reasonably priced would recommend, very homely atmosphere 8/10.

The haggis and black pudding starter was sublime... mustard mash complemented it perfectly. The chicken palmo I had for main was not such a hit.. possibly not quite what I was expecting from the menu description. Far too many breadcrumbs took the edge of it, in fact it would gave been far better with no breadcrumbs at all. The staff were superb... just the right mix of friendly, attentive and professional.

Nice drive out to this pub haven't been in it for years, nice friendly welcome, good Beer, good Beer garden, .. Nice drive on a sunny day.

Drove an hour to come here, to have A lady member of staff that was absolutely horrible, she made the whole environment very hysterical which was completely unnecessary they were slightly busy � had to pull her to one side and actually ask her to not treat us so bad, extremely bad attitude, poor service food practically thrown at us, not pram or child friendly one of the examples (there is more) - I phoned to book a table and told them we had a pram and mobility difficulties to only be seated down two different sets of steps to a table not suitable when asked to move this lady’s attitude was disgusting but she did move us and her service continued to be appalling to us and others! Including been very rude and bullying her other staff members, very embarrassing to watch, Food also was not warm and not great in taste and no specials were even mentioned never mind offered, neither were any sauces or condiments offered, the food orders were wrong, the list goes on �� we will not be returning, this member of staff is ruining any experience anyone could have at this establishment.
