Scripts Out Loud

This fun and creative online event gives script writers of children's animations a space to network, tweak and get feedback, voice actors an opportunity to flex their acting muscles and anyone in the animation industry a chance to observe some silliness and you never know…discover a hidden gem! As well as this being a few hours of merriment and goofiness and play, our event also hopes to create new ways of developing characters in animations. Children's TV animations often don't really come into their own until halfway through the first series. And working THIS way, may be a solution to that. Having a dialogue and a play space for writers and voice actors, means we can really focus on character development. And so by the time the first episode is broadcast, those characters are already embedded. Meaning the kids are drawn in straight away. Something to think about. Voice Actors Julie-Ann Dean and Rhian Marston-Jones are behind the initiative.
