Pretty much always guaranteed to be busy, but they have a great selection of aquatic life available for viewing, as well as a cafe and a gift shop.

Great place, kids love it and so do the adults. There's a nice under 4s play area at the end in the gift shop.

Fab! Will return. Fantastic staff, Brill environment and free soft play at gift shop. Reasonable priced gifts too. Thoroughly enjoyed

It was understandably busy on a Saturday during the summer holidays, meaning the tunnel was especially rammed. It's quite a small centre but has really nice displays and a soft play area for my friend's toddler. My only complaint is that there are no signs telling you what the fish in each tank are - just screens that cycle through different fish and facts. I would have liked something permanent so you can see easily and quickly what's in each tank

Excellent visit, staff member Heidi came up and helped us find an octopus that we couldn't find as she could see us struggling (and she told us he like to hide), then they gave us some really interesting facts about them at the same time which really kept my son interested. It was really interactive and made it much more fun. It would normally have been something we would just walk past and assume the tank was empty so it was great to have the extra info.
The stamping booklet for the reward badge at the end was fun too.
We also sat through a very interesting talk by Lucy in front of the sharks (shown in the photos) and learnt a lot about the sharks and all the other fish that were swimming by as she was talking. She kept it funny and upbeat at times too which kept us all smiling and wanting to listen to more. Excellent work Lucy!
We loved the tunnel and also spent a while sitting watching the stingrays in their massive tank too.
At the end of the visit we had a lovely young man serve my son when he bought his souvenir, he asked what my son had enjoyed and seemed genuinely interested which just ended the visit perfectly.
Thanks Sealife Blackpool. Hope to see you again sometime.

One of the best sea life centres I've been to although it's seems to have a abundance of Sting rays. However when a school trip is in it can become hectic.
The area tunnel is brilliant and you can sit for ages watching the fish.
Staff are helpful and pleasant, but for the love of God quit with the photographs!

If you've never been then definitely worth the visit some brilliant sea life to see plus the giant sharks and rays with a glass tunnel and huge glass walls and quirky places to view sea life from all in all a great place to visit would of give 5 stars except for the gift shop prices

Bit pricey. Went with a ten year old and was done in half hour, £35 for two of us with the brochure. Expected it to be bigger. However what we did see was good and staff where great.

Better than expected, many varieties of fish, nicely arranged so didn't miss any features. Big tanks were awesome. Kids enjoyed area where can touch the starfish. Gets quite busy around lunch time so quite noisy. Not too easy to find out the species of fish from the screens. Gift shop decent size.
