Good for kids as there is quite a bit to see but the prices are astronomical. We had a voucher for buy 1 get 1 free and my little one is just under 3 so he got in for nothing as well. It cost £26 for all of us which is really good but if we didn't have the voucher and my little one was over 3 it would of cost us around £80. For that price and what you get it would not of been worth it.

Good place to bring kids. But expectation is too high for such a small aquarium. Only had a big tank standing from top to bottom.. not much veriety of fish. Easily we can complete visit in by maximum of 2hrs..

This is a great family day out. The penguin feeding was fun to watch and they have a great variety of everything. However the cost is really high, we only went as we had buy 1get one free, otherwise it's too much. There is no place to eat there, I understand it's due to the wildlife but people were sitting on the floor eating anyway, so would make sense for the Aquarium to just have a separate room with some tables and chairs for people to eat. Overall a great experience at a huge cost if you are paying full price.

To be honest I expected more. The other sealife centers I visited in the UK had a more varied display. For this one you could say that the focus is on a two large tanks that you view from several different angles. The jellyfish display was also very small. The good part were the penguins which were in nice tank that showed how they were swimming.

Always loved the London Aquarium. It's not the best aquarium, it's not cheap, and it's always noisy* but it's the closest to home and I've been many times. They regularly update their exhibits and they're strong on education and their conservation message. The current penguin exhibit does remind me a bit of Happy Feet mind you!

*always thought an adults only evening in relative serenity would be great!

Very well laid out route inside. The fish are all well looked after and you can up close and personal with all the different breeds.

Perfect to take the kids, too as you can see the sharks being fed, and learn from all the interactive displays.

There's a gift shop at the end, which I think is ridiculously expensive, but offers great souvenirs.

So horrific that they have penguins in an underground enclosure with no natural light or fresh air. One penguin was repeating the exact same pattern of behaviour over and over again, clear sign of boredom. These penguins would in the wild swim for miles every day. This enclosure is about 80 metres squared. There's no hiding areas from the glare of the public.
If we are going to keep wildlife in a captivity we need to consider what they what they're natural lives would have involved, they need to be stimulated, fulfilled and happy. Fresh air, natural light, and a large area with hiding spaces is pretty basic. If we cannot achieve that then we shouldn't have them in captivity.

Will be avoiding London sea life until these penguins are removed and given to somewhere that can provide for them the quality of life they deserve. And will be telling other people the same.

We had a great day out at London Aquarium. So glad we pre-booked online before we went and it didn't take to long to get in.

It was very very busy with it being half term and lots of tourists so was a little hard to look at everything.

We was a little cramp inside but to be fair was expected. The staff seemed very helpful and giving great talks.

The sharks were amazing very big and in huge tanks so looked impressive.

We had the buy one ticket get one free if we had to pay full price for 3 of us I don't think it would have been worth it we was only inside for 1hr due to pushing and unable to stand around looking at everything.

It was the first time we have been there and we might go back one day.

It's a bit of an odd place. All "underground". Follow a succession of underground passageways around the various tanks and pools. All are very well presented. The place is very clean and the are plenty of fish/aquatic life to get your teeth into.

Penguin area was closed because they were sleeping when we went. A large section of area at the end was also closed off for refurbishment works.

Shop- typically pricey. But, worth the money should you fancy an educational few hours.
