A few scooters visited Millendreath yesterday!

Taking bookings for winter short breaks. From £45 per night, Nov to March. Cheaper for full week. Min 4 nights. Sleeps 4 in 2x double beds. Up to 3 dogs welcome free of charge. Choice of 2 Villas, both with stunning sea views. Large fully enclosed terraces. Fully insulated and heated. The beach is dog friendly all day, the beach bar and cafe will be open but with reduced days and hours per day. Cornwall is open all year in most places. Come and relax. It’s 4 years that we got Sea salt villa. Gone so quickly and changed so much!

The Waves bar is along the coast from us. Their Sunday Lunch with a view is outstanding and 2-4-1 is a fabulous deal. ( ask for extra gravy boat, it is the best) You can take your dog in downstairs. 100% recommended by me. I have just booked for two Sundays! 🤣

Thank you to everyone who sent payment to the bull terrier welfare trust. £650 was raised. I have been in contact with the winner, who was ‘very’ happy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 She wins a 4 night break for up to 4 guests and 3 dogs in the villa of her choice from the dates available. To be taken between November and March.

I will say immediately when it’s gone. All day dog friendly beach is a 5 minute walk from our gate. Direct access into the woodland walks and coast path from our gate. Beach Cafe and Bar. While I went on the beach walk with Lulu, Reg went around the lanes with his Dad! Met one tractor and one car!

Today’s walk at low tide, a quick rock hop round to the East beach ( left of the jetty) at Millendreath. The geology at Millendreath end is fantastic . You can walk all the way to Seaton BUT I recommend if you do, come back by the coast path to avoid getting cut off by the tide. If I hadn’t stayed for the cheesy chips in Seaton I’d have been ok but I only just made it back! To be fair, the best part is the Millendreath end anyway. After “the needle” it’s not great, so you could just enjoy the beach round from Millendreath and go back.

Our little visitor today. I don’t care that he’s not a bird, there are loads of bird feeders around here that he can’t reach. He only sniffed the fat balls anyway! He’s welcome.

From today...1st May until September 30th, No dogs on “our” beach except before 9 am and after 6 pm! Not a problem when Plaidy beach is all year round dog friendly and only a 5 minute walk! This is at high tide today with my youngster, Nancy. Might frame the 1st photo 💕
