Seadown Holiday Park
Reviews
What a gem of a place. Metres from the beach. Super clean. Just ace
Very nice site close to beach and not far from Lyme Regis would have been 5* if wasn’t for spiderwebs covering the ceiling which had obviously been there a while
Plug hole was missing in kitchen sink. Shower head was leaking from side and some of holes weren't working. Blinds were filthy and dirty. There are no access from tarmac to caravan, each caravan has access from grass. So if you're planning to visit in rainy season then must take your valley boots with you. Reception desk is only opened between 8-5 so you cannot contact park administration in after reception hours. Dogs are allowed in this park so prepare to wake up but early as they often bark in the morning. Overall 2 out of 5 stars.
Personally I will never visit this place again.
Nice quiet park with access to the beach. Shop on site and some good places to eat within easy walking distance. Caravan nice and clean. Shower head broken. Bedding provided, but no towels or tea towels. Only real gripe is that beds are not comfy.
Very clean and tidy, staff helpful and shop caters for most of what we needed for our stay. A stones throw from the beach which was great. Showers and washing up facilities for touring was spotless. Would definitely recommend this site.
spent a week there in july, the caravan was clean a tidy and reasonably priced, the staff were ok nothing special, my wife was ill in hospital all week so didn't get to see much of dorset, what I did see in the area looked quite nice, we did manage to go to monkey world on the first day before she was ill and can recommend going there if your in the area.
Small caravan. Had to change from our first van cos of a lack of heating. I'm to paying £269 for 4 nights just to have 1 gas fire in caravan. Location is lovely. Short walk to the beach. Staff were pleasant
Stayed at the end of September and loved the peacefulness of the camp, and the ducks. Loved the fact you are 5 minutes from the coast and the fossil attractions on the sea front. Will definitely be coming back again. Caravans are spotless and we'll equipped. Would have been 5* apart from the wifi is well over priced for this day and age!!! Hopefully they sort that out and make it more reasonable.
As a family we've had a fantastic time in charmouth.
Seadown park is lovely, clean, tidy and very well kept. The staff/owners were very kind, welcoming and helpful especially after reporting a faulty bathroom door lock which they had reacted to before I'd even got back to the caravan.
Overall a very pleasant stay and we could have very easily stayed there another week.
