Love the Seagate. Lunch..dinner or just drinks. Team very friendly. Dog friendly bar..outside seating back and front. Nice loos. Great food. One of my fave places to be.

We are just back from a 3 night stay here and cant fault it. The room was lovely, very clean with beautiful thick towels and all you could need - kettle,tea, coffee, biscuits, hairdryer and bathroom minis. The bed was so comfortable, I've not stayed anywhere where ive had a bed as comfortable.
We used the restaurant each evening and the food was superb it really was.
Appledore is very pretty but quiet. But a good base for travelling out to other places.
Thoroughly recommend The Seagate and would definitely stay here again.

Our party ordered steak of differing temperatures. Mine was a ribeye, rare. It was one of the best cooked steaks I have ever eaten. Well rendered fat and tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat. Highly, highly recommend.

The hotel is on the sea front just across the road from the promenade. The food we ordered took about twenty minutes to arrive. The food was excellent quality, hot and tasty. Service was very friendly and prompt. Would recommend to everyone.

Nice starters mains need a bit of work but overall a very nice place to be

Wonderful staff, really nice drinks and the food was fresh and frankly delightful. Will be visiting again without a doubt.

Although we arrived after food service had finished, the staff were happy to keep the kitchen open a little longer.

A fantastic pub/restaurant in Appledore. Best food we've had in the area on two consecutive visits. Delicious food for adults and children alike. I recommend the cassoulet...
