Christmas and New Year at the Seascape Hotel Torquay 2015

We've just set home after a lovely 6 day break at Seascape Hotel to celebrate my mum & dads 50th wedding anniversary. There was a group of 28 of us altogether.



The value for money is incredible, the food was lovely, hot & great choices and very accommodating to what the kids asked for, the waiters, bar staff, entertainment was all lovely too.



This hotel is still on its new owner transition stage but what Steve (the owner) does for you goes above and beyond the service we've ever had at any hotel before. Nothing seriously was to much trouble for him, he went out his way to help with everything.



Yes the floorboards creak, but that in comparison to what you actually get at this hotel for the value for money is just brilliant.



My son even took poorly at the beginning of the week and we needed a taxi for the hospital and Steve went out his way to take me and my boy upto hospital.



The hotel is in close proximity to the town centre and its a lovely walk down to the harbour, we had 4 children in our trip aged 11,9,5 & 1 and they was well entertained too.



The views was amazing too.

We went on a murder mystery weekend had a wicked time hotel room was lovely and clean the staff were brill and the two for one at the bar was good too would definitely go back maybe very soon the owners were very helpful thanks for Mr and Mrs starkie south Wales

We had a lovely time at the seascape hotel nothing was to much trouble and the staff were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble and thanks to Steve the owner for making me and my sister feel welcome and safe and comfortable we will definitely be coming back in the near future but just me my sister and the boyfriends

This hotel is great value for money and very friendly. The meals were excellent and hot. Even my picky husband loved them. Thank you for a great holiday and maybe see you again x

Spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Seascape Hotel. The rooms are comfortable and have good views of the sea. The staff are friendly and attentive. The meals were lovely. The kids enjoyed the pool room and the evening entertainment was very enjoyable.

Just had a great stay at The Seascape going home tomorrow

Just a lovely well run Hotel. Not too far from the town only a few minutes walk. Great views from the balcony and great entertainment every night too.

The Hotel is a little dated but clean . The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need . The staff are warm and welcoming. The food was great .

We had a lovely stay .

The only little thing it was very hot in the hotel bedrooms and corridors but then you can always open your windows . As the weather was very changeable the hotel tried to cater for all there customers needs with the heat

Lovely holiday

On entering the room it did not smell fresh. Water was hot but the shower did not work well very hard to control took me back 20 years,the cold water tap in the basin needs attention which I feel the chambermaids should have reported. Never have I stayed in a hotel where a bath floor mat has to be requested from reception. Rooms were tired carpets worn in communal areas. Food was very good except the quality of the bread please use medium sliced bread, superb choice for breakfast , bacon very good. Staff were always pleasant and helpful very good service in the resturant lovely to have meals served at the table

A clean, well run hotel. Food was pretty good and plenty of it.

Entertainment for 2 nights out of the 4 nights I stayed there.

Lovely polite staff, clean rooms, accommodation a bit poor with alot of noise both inside and out. Not much choice in food and small breakfast portion. Didnt change bedding or towels as still had little bits of my make up still on it.

This hotel is pretty disappointing. Was there on a 4 day coach tour. Parking is limited and certainly not suitable for coaches. Rooms were clean, instant hot water and that's about all that I can say was good. Food was hot but not much choice and redminded most people of school dinners. To watch TV you had to pay a £10 deposit for the remote control, TV reception was pretty poor. Apart from the lovely Greek waiter the rest of the staff were grumpy and unhelpful. They were rude and abusive to our tour guide.
