Will be returning. Those choc caramel date brownies are amazing. Not great for my diet but worth it
Well I joined the queue out the door and can clearly see why! Everything looks so delicious!! Fresh sandwich was lovely as was the bit of sausage roll I pinched from my son to try. Can’t wait to try the rest of my purchases. Will definitely be going back x.
Visited yesterday and bought a few things but by far, my Manchester tart was the best I'd ever had. Everything in the right proportion and the pastry was perfect. Not soggy and it didn't collapse on me when I ate it! Brilliant!
Really nice shop, i loved everything I tried today. Looking forward to trying the breakfast. Definitely recommend the almond croissant
Popped in today and WOW what a selection! The staff are so friendly and accomodating, even to a hungry toddler! The pies and fresh breads are just so tasty! Makes you realise the rubbish that is in commercial produce. The cakes and pasteries.... well, I'd be hopping over the road to the Cambridge Weigh Plan shop if I was given free reign in there!! A beautiful shop, very welcoming and calming. It reinforces that this is truly an Artisan Village Bakery. Well done to everyone concerned. This business deserves to go from strength to strength!
Not very impressed with pies. Bland and over priced. Taste just like Fry’s pies from the chippie. Cheese and onion was more like ‘wall paper paste and cello tape’. Steak and mushy pea was poor. It was just mince (no gravy) and a teaspoon of peas, that seemed to be boiled dry. Not very big either and filling could have a little more love put in to them.
Nice to see home made stuff and quality 100%.going again .nice to see sausage rolls with meat in it and pastry was excellent .bought a loaf as well .loved it
Just tried one of your family pies for four and wow it’s was amazing well worth the money
I've been in a few times and never been disappointed, friendly staff and beautiful cakes loved the Bailey's cheese cake ...well done x
I paid a visit today, amazing! Lots of bread, cakes pies etc, lovely and clean! Service was slow I thought personally but suppose its early days for staff, having said that it wont stop me returning
I ordered a fresh cream Victorian sponge cake for a anniversary gift for my husband we had it after our tea last night, it was absolutely beautiful wasn't too heavy and the children loved it too. While I was there I also picked up some oven bottoms that was on offer 4 for £1, we had them with burgers they was so fresh and so tasty. The staff was so friendly despite it being extremely hot and it was at the end of the day they was so lovely. Definitely will be returning to sample the cafe. It what Denton needed a lovely little bakery/cafe
I loved the variety. it was like walking into the sweet shop whilst a child, wanted everything!! Wish the business great success.
Had lunch here with my mum, sister and my baby boy today. The outside seating was ideal for my boy’s little pram and the food and lattes were lovely.
I’ve had other cakes here previously which were all delicious, and today I had the chocolate tart and it was the best I’ve ever had!!!
Hope this lovely bakery keeps going as it’s just what Denton needs.
Great customer service, lovely shop and the produce is excellent....definitely a returning customer....big commercial bread makers can stuff their loaves....I’m a lovingly artisan customer from now on....this is how bread/dough should be x
First visit today and won't be the last. Sourdough and frangipani were both delicious. There was too much choice. We wanted to try it all. Just what Denton needed
First time here, had a yummy traditional pasty, my daughter had a sausage roll and my partner had the double burger, then me and my daughter sampled the banana custard tart will be back again it was all delicious
About time Denton had a lovely shop like this. I bought chocolate cake and Carrot cake today and they were just stunning.
First time in today, it was cake heaven! Meat & tata pie was lovely, Rhubarb pie was to die for although I would prefer the top with icing sugar sprinkled on rather than sugar. Was a bit expensive However I will be going back to try a breky-it looked really nice. Could not afford to visit lots but for a special treat then definitely. Staff friendly & shop looks very inviting.
Popped in just before close on Saturday, the 2 gingerbread men we got were very burnt on the back and did not taste of much which was disappointing. The Baileys cheesecake however was lovely!
