Seasons Fruit & Veg Description
We are husband and wife team Jerry & Terrie (yes seriously! ) We have a large family and found that buying fresh fruit and veg from the supermarkets was becoming unaffordable and frustrating. We would buy produce then find a couple days later it was already going off. Jerry had lots of experience in the fruit trade and Terrie a keen cook so Seasons Fruit & Veg was born. As a family we are eating lots of healthy, nutritious meals, trying new produce and above all saving money. Why not give us a try?

Day 7 plastic free July - shopping with Evie & nieces! Churros came in lovely card sombreros BUT 2 weeny plastic pots for the dipping sauce ūüėĪ the girls & staff were mortified when I refused the pots & pumped sauce directly into the churros ūü§∑ūüŹľ‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹ the lady on the stand shook her head & rolled her eyes at me!! Anyone who knows me knows that was my prompt to start my #plasticfreepreaching in the @centremk - shame on you for not insisting on plastic free alternatives!!
My family are used to me embarrassing them so no relatives were harmed in the making of this ūüėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£ū üėāūü§£ūüėāūü§£

Pour 125ml boiling water over 5cm peeled & sliced ginger, 2 stalks of lightly bruised lemongrass & 2 tbsp honey. Leave to steep as long as you can. Top up with ice a litre of soda water & 650ml ginger beer!
