Thank you everyone who ordered one of our Christmas meats this week, please see below for cooking instructions:
Ham
Simply slice your ham as thin (or thick) as you like and pan fry for 4-5 minutes, it’s great in a vegan BLT or alongside your Xmas dinner tomorrow.
... Furkey
Pan glaze the whole furkey for 3-5 minutes with butter, rosemary and thyme until it’s browned.
Cover with foil and bake in the oven for half hour. Slice and serve.
The stuffing takes about 35 minutes so we recommend you bake it alongside the furkey.

Our pineapple roast ham is an aged seitan deli meat roasted for a few hours and then cooked with a sweet glaze to finish.
The second is our new furkey roast, a generous helping of festive seasoned seitan rolled around homemade stuffing, complete with a seasoned broth for you to make your own gravy.
... Weighing in at just under 1 and a half kilos they should feed 4 to 5 but will keep for up to a week in the fridge. It’s great cold in sandwiches or hot with your Christmas dinner.
Orders need to be in by lunchtime Tuesday, deliveries to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Forest of Dean.

Evening Seitan’s helpers we just want to say a massive thank you to you all for supporting the project.

As some of you may know, we’ve been a home based kitchen since we launched. We’d love nothing more than to be able to open our own production kitchen and food hatch but we need your help.
From the 8th of November we’ll have just 30 days to raise enough money to fund our expansion project.
The site is in Cheltenham and it will allow us to not only serve the wonderful locals who have supported us this far but also fulfil our wholesale requirements.

I met Liam and his colleague at the oxford vegan fair on Saturday 10th March while I was manning the Sea Shepherd stall.

What can I say from the start the food they were cooking smelt amazing.



After a hour with the most amazing smells I had to give one a go.



It’s the best vegan burger I have ever tasted with the black bun and all the salad I would highly recommend if your ever at a event try them you won’t be disappointed.



Liam and his colleague were very easy to talk to and were happy to let you know what’s in the burgers.



I even went back for my second later in the day.



Please if you see them try one you will be amazed.

I loved the look of the edible charcoal buns and really enjoyed the seitan burger, it was moister and more “real” looking than the usual chickpea or bean based burgers that I make myself. I’m a vegetarian who doesn’t feel the need to replicate meat, but I can see how this would fulfill that with its texture and taste. The facon didn’t taste like bacon to me, but then it’s 30 years plus since I last ate any meat! Liam and his colleague were really friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their food and I’ll be following Seitan’s Grill on FB in the hope of buying something yummy from them again in the future.

I had my first burger with all trimmings at Dean Farm Trust open day. It was delicious and i recommend this company and their lovely food with confidence

Harry and I enjoyed your scrummylicious burgers again today at the vegan fair in Gloucester with everything on it......Definitely the tastiest ones around and even though Harry is a meat eater he said that he would choose your burgers over a meat one any day!
