Sennen Beach

About Sennen Beach

Sennen beach is located just around the corner from Land's End in the far west of Cornwall. With nearly a mile of golden sand facing into the Atlantic Ocean Sennen is popular with surfers and families

Sennen Beach Description

Just around the corner from Land's End nestles Sennen Cove, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. Almost a mile of golden-white sand stretching around the crescent bay to neighbouring Gwenver beach.

Sennen is both a great family beach and one of the best surf spots in Cornwall. Facing into the full force of the Atlantic Ocean this place picks up a lot of swell. In the winter storms can be terrific, in the summer Sennen can be a picture of tranquility.

Without doubt my favorite place have been coming there every year since I was four I'm now 48 it's still as beautiful as it was then. The beach is clean the sea is blue waves fantastic great for body boarding, surfing, facilities are great the staff are always friendly and has the brilliant Sennen Surf Centre and shop.

One of the most beautiful, peaceful places we have ever been to. We hired a cottage with sea views and the surrounding area is breathtaking. The local cafe is wonderful and the fish and chip shop is one of the best in the south west. Can't wait for our next visit.

My favourite beach in England! Beautiful clean sea and beach ... good facilities and an excellent surf club - Sennen Surf Center ¤æī¤Å╝¤żÖ¤Å╝¤Åä¤Å╗¤Åä¤Å╝ŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ We are coming back next year for sure. Also the food and drink options are really not bad at all. A must for all beach / surf lovers!

Lovely and peaceful walks all around and we walked to landsend and came back and strolled along the beach. Everything in Cornwall is gorgeous as I am Cornish myself and I don't think we know how lucky we are to have the most beautiful place in England

User

Just go. Beautiful beach, good surf, great cafe/ restaurant on beach front (which is very dog friendly) Classy spot. Couple 40's with 15 and 17 yr old sons loved it.

BBQ at 7pm when our pooch was allowed on was a lovely experience.

It's been my escape to place since I met my hubby- 20 yrs ago this month’┐Į and now I'm lucky enough for my 2 kids to also appreciate this amazing cove where dreams are encouraged & fulfilled ’┐Į

User

I'd like to tell you all what an awful place it is so that you don't go there - but I'm useless at lying. Simply stunning

User

Great location. Stunning. Cornwall at its best. We stayed at The Old Success as it is a short 5 minuteŌĆŗ drive to the Lands End Airport for our flight to the Scilly Isles.

User

For me sennen is Cornwall. The beach is ideal. Sandy and accommodates many. Ample water activities and serviced by life guard. Parking down and on the hill. Quite tight on the front and get there early else it be a walk from the top

User

Breathtaking, beautyful. Lots of friendly people. Best sea-food platter - we had to have more. Thank you Lauren for the lovely time at the cubby hole. The beach is so lovely for morning walks

User

Beautiful! Crystal clear shallow water, rock pools for the kids, toilets near by and a great fish and chip shop to eat whilst watching the sun set!

User

Beautiful clean beach. Kids had an amazing surf lesson followed by delicious fish and chips overlooking the sea. Even the local shop owner was friendly and welcoming - didn't want to leave! Highly recommend for families or anyone who admires a stunning beach with fantastic views on all sides!

Amazing beach

User

A lovely clean beach suitable for a family day out, with parking close to the sand. Public toilets available are filthy though. Also don't risk not putting enough money on the car... parking attendant red hot with dishing out ┬Ż100 parking fines. (Top tip - car park at the harbour end is cheaper if you don't mind a 5 minute walk)

Took our Newfoundland dog on holiday to Cornwall to find most beaches not dog friendly during the day ¤æÄ.

Heard so much about Bilbo the lifeguard Newfoundland that had been at Sennen beach¤æŹ.

We managed to get ours in the water at Sennen but after 19:00 glad I had my wetsuit though at that time of night.

In the end our Newfoundland loved it and as they say it's all about the dog.

User

Can't really comment on this place because we only visited it while on a bus as it was on the route but it looked nice also no dogs allowed on the beach which is brilliant
