SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH
Babies loved splashing in the water this morning, everyone needed a change of clothes afterwards!!!!!

The eggs are fertilised!!!!!
Pre-school have been very excited to see that the eggs are fertilised. Fingers crossed that they continue to grow.

The eggs are in!!!
So today the children have helped to put the duck eggs into the incubator. We are all very excited. In a few days time we will be able to hold a candle up to the eggs to see if they have fertilised. Fingers crossed.

We had a very exciting delivery at nursery today, one of our families has kindly loaned us an incubator and given us 6 duck eggs that we are going help look after, which ties in nicely with our theme for the month 'Life cycles'. Watch this space for more updates.🥚🐣

This week the Pre School children are learning about the life cycle of a frog. They have made frogs and tadpoles from playdough and have been looking at and drawing frogspawn. 🐸

Another fantastic week had at nursery this week. The children have had lots of fun learning about life cycles. In Pre School the children have been planting sunflower seeds and drawing the stages of a plants life cycle.

Life-cycles To continue our life cycle theme, this week Pre-school have started to learn about seeds growing into plants. They have been out in the garden looking at different seeds, painting sunflowers and finding different construction toys to make flowers from.

Mini Beasts
We have all enjoyed our first week of this months theme. Babies have had fun hunting insects in their mini swamps, whilst Pre-school have done some amazing lady bird paintings to finish of the week as they have spent this week learning all about ladybirds.

What a wonderful time we have had today at nursery celebrating World Book Day. The children enjoyed dressing up in their favorite costumes and showing their friends. We have been looking at lots of books today and the Preschool children had a go at doing their own stories and making book marks. 📔😀

A Very Busy Day Babies have had lots of fun playing in the cornflour and getting messy along with hiding in the re-cycled boxes,whilst Toddlers have been busy painting large boxes to make a train. Pre-school have finished their hanging baskets,which they have made from re-cycled bicycle wheels and plastic bottles. Make sure you have a look for them when you come to nursery, they look fab.

A Sunny Walk The babies and Pre-school went for a lovely walk in the sun shine. They went to the shops to buy some plants ready to make some hanging baskets to put in the garden. Keep a look out for our future posts of are home made hanging baskets when they are all finished.

What a fantastic morning we had with our artist Elaine today. We worked with clay and natural material as well as recyclable objects to see what we could create. We are already excited to see what we will be making next week.

What a fantastic few days we have had in Pre School. The children have loved getting messy and making their own recycled paper, helping in the garden planting some sweetcorn and parsnip seeds and decorating discs to hang in the garden.

What a fantastic morning the babies had at their valentines themed stay and play session today. they explored the shredded paper and had fun with the play dough. Thank you to those who came along to join in the fun.

A busy day in Pre-school
Pre-school have been back in the garden today, getting it ready to start planting and finding lots of different insects whilst digging. They have also been busying using all of the re-cycled materials and making some amazing constructions from the different boxes and different bottles and plastic tubs to fit in with our theme of recycling.

What a fantastic time the Preschool children have had exploring a bike over the past couple of days. They have taken the bike apart using tools and then threading ribbons through the spokes to make patterns. Watch this space for the finished product 😀
