Skin care top tips whilst your unable to have your regular facials with me 💪 ❄️ ICE ICE BABY ❄️
Did you know? that ice cubes can be a great addition to your skincare routine, As it keeps it healthy & helps to rejuvante your skin, Helps clear acne and promotes radiance.
... Below is just a few benefits listed if what ice can do for you & your SKIN ⬇️
ACNE ➡️ Ice cubes help to soak away the oil from your skin! it works wonders to help reduce swelling & spots caused by acne.
PORES -➡️ Our skin is made up of a large number of pores, these pores help us detoxify and sweat. The downside of pores is that they can hold on to dirt, this in turn makes your skin look tired.
When you apply ice to your skin it cleanses the pores, resulting in healthy, glowing smooth skin, whilst improving your blood circulation.
PUFFY EYES ➡️ This is my favourite go to top tip, if your like me and you suffer from dark circles, the try ice cubes, the ice helps to reduce swelling, thus revealing brighter eyes.
Wrinkles ➡️ Ice helps to diminish the appearance of wrinkles & also helps to control the formation of new wrinkles.
Massage ➡️ A facial massage at home using ice cubes is a great way to relieve stress & rejuvantes the skin, improves the blood flow leaving your skin radiant

So here are the top 10 most searched brow questions are on google- and I will answer them for you!
Check them out here:
1) How long does eyebrow tinting last for?
... 2-4 weeks depending upon your skin/ lifestyle.
There is a product call tint lock that you can purchase for £25.00 that locks your tint in for longer
2) Is waxing good for eyebrows?
It is as long as it’s done right,
As a HD Brows stylist I use an exclusive design formula to create your desired brow shape through waxing. Whether you’re looking to take them thinner or grow them back, your stylist will be able to achieve this.
3) How long does threading eyebrows last?
Typically 3 weeks ish
4) How are eyebrows threaded?
Using a premium thread- and not using my mouth!
In the HD Brows treatment, i don’t use threading to design the shape of the brow. I use it to remove any of those fair hairs that we don’t want to use in the brow shape, blending away any tell-tale wax lines and ensuring smooth make up application.
5) Is eyebrow threading better than waxing?
I will use both as they are both great to achieve a beautiful brow.
6) Is eyebrow threading safe?
Totally!!
7) What type of tweezers are best for plucking eyebrows?
None - get a specialist to it!! I use the h d ones they are amazing 😍
😎 How do you pluck your eyebrows perfectly?
If you really want to tweeze you’re own brows, best tip I can give you is draw your brows how you would normally, then tweeze what’s outside of that shape, try to avoid a sperm brow 🙈( also I can tell if you’ve been tweezing in between!) and those of you who come regularly know I will call you out 😂🙈
9) Should I tweeze top of brows?
Yes you can as I’ve said above- best leaving it to an expert 😉
10) Is tweezing eyebrows bad?
No it isn’t bad, but if your coming to get your h d brows done every 4 weeks then your syncing your hairs into a cycle and they will grow back together, rather than tweezing and an odd one coming through every other day!!
Any other questions on brows let me know!!

LUNCHTIME POST.
If you love facials and you are wanting to give your next facial a boost, make it a Dermaplane facial! Professional facials refresh the skin, giving it a glow that can’t be replicated by anything else. The benefits of adding a Dermaplane facial to your regimen are endless. Here are a few of the exciting benefits of a Dermaplane facial:
1. More even skin tone... Dermaplane is the perfect procedure to help even out skin tone. Whether it is because of skin damage or the natural tone to your skin changing over time, this facial will help restore evenness to your complexion. It does this because we use a blade to gently and effectively scrape the skin. The buildup of dead skin cells that can be contributing to the discoloration are quickly and effectively removed.
2. Reduction in fine lines Although a Dermaplane facial does not have the ability to remove deep wrinkles or scars, it can help eliminate the fine wrinkles that begin to develop over time. This happens because the superficial wrinkles in the skin are actually removed from the skin during the procedure, creating the appearance of a smooth complexion that is lasting and radiant.
3. Hair removal A blade is used in the procedure, resulting in a smooth and hairfree area. The result lasts longer than traditional shaving as the blade shaves down layers of skin and hair. It does not cause the hair to grow back thicker or darker. You will be left with the smooth skin you want without the potential for redness or swelling that can accompany other hair removal methods.
4. Very gentle Due to the fact that the blade and the pressure are carefully controlled by your Esthetician, there is very little redness or damage done to the skin. There is no suction or pressure as in other techniques.
5.Lasting results Because the procedure removes up to 3 weeks of dead skin cells, the Dermaplane facial will effectively last up to a month before another procedure may be required. With a good at home regimen, the results can last for many months! Most clients return when the hair reappears and they see the dull appearance that accompanies dead skin build up, which is typically one to two months. Please do not hesitate to call/ message with any questions or concerns you

Dermaplaning and Chemical Peels
Dermaplaning and chemical peels are each non-surgical cosmetic treatments used to rejuvenate the look and feel of the skin. Each serves a different purpose and may be administered independently of each other. However, many people opt for a combination dermaplaning and chemical peel service to optimize treatment outcome and achieve a smoother and more radiant complexion.
Did you know…
... that the skin begins to lose its glow over time? This is because the skin’s natural shedding of dead cells slows with age, causing it to appear dull and lackluster. Though new, healthy skin exists below the surface, it is often masked by an old and uneven external layer of skin. Dermaplaning and chemical peel combination treatments help reveal healthy, glowing skin and restore a youthful appearance.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure in which a blade is gently moved across a dry skin on the face, removing dead skin and evening out rough, dry skin. Dermaplaning is generally painless and can be performed as often as twice per month. In addition to removing the rough outer portion of the dermis, dermaplaning also helps to remove unwanted vellus hairs, also known as ‘peach fuzz’.
What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is an in-office procedure during which an acid solution is applied to the surface of the face. The solution is left on for a few minutes, after which time it is removed or neutralized. Most people experience some mild tingling during a chemical peel, which usually takes only a few minutes to complete. Following a chemical peel, the skin may ‘flake off’ for a couple of days before revealing newer, healthier looking skin beneath the surface. Chemical peels are useful for improving the appearance of the skin and conditions like hyperpigmentation, fine lines, sun damage, acne scars and age spots.
Why get a combination dermaplaning and chemical peel?
While dermaplaning and chemical peels are effective apart, they work synergistically together. Dermaplaning helps to remove the outer layers of the skin, making the chemical solution in a chemical peel far more effective. Since dermaplaning enables the acid solution to reach deeper levels of the dermis, the chemical solution in a combination treatment is left on the skin for a shorter period of time than it is during a chemical peel alone. Dermaplaning can be combined with many different types of chemical peels, from mild glycolic and salicylic acid peels to stronger peels containing trichloroacetic acid (TCA).
