We had a lovely time practicing Qigong in Riverside Park celebrating World Health Qigong Day this morning. Even the sun came out. We collected £32.32 for the James Vincent Memorial Trust. Thank you very much.
This concludes our Free Qigong Classes in the Park during summer. We'll be back in June 2019.
Please contact me if you would like to come to my class on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in Fryern Hill Pavilion, Chandler's Ford.

If you haven't seen this on FB, here it is again. This research tells us that Qigong as well as Tai Chi and Yoga are useful alternatives for treating MDD (major depressive disorder). They are safe and easily accessible. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30071 662

Taiji Qigong (also called Shibashi) is a mixture of simple Qigong and Tai Chi movements.
Qigong consists of gentle, flowing exercises using breath and movement to improve health and prevent illness. It originates from China where it has been practiced for over 3,000 years.
We will meet in the Riverside Park car park (behind Bitterne Park Social Club, 76 Manor Farm Road, SO18 1NQ) at 9am.
... This event is normally free to attend but today we are collecting money for the James Vincent Memorial Trust (https://www.facebook.com/jamesvincentmt/ ). Please give generously. Thank you very much.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EVENT WON'T TAKE PLACE IF IT IS RAINING.
