Severn Valley School Of Dance

Severn Valley is a fun and friendly dance school, offering classes from Pre-School age to adults in ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Jazz and Street Dance.

Severn Valley School Of Dance opened its doors in 1996, and holds weekly dance classes in Bridgnorth, Shropshire and Kinver near Stourbridge.

We offer children's classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Street Dance, Body Conditioning and Classical Pointe Work.

Classes start for children from Pre-School age upwards, and we also offer Ballet and Tap classes for Adults.

We put on a large biannual performance, at Bridgnorth Leisure Centre, which involves all the students in the school, but if it is a way of making new friends, keeping fit, improving posture and motor skills, having fun in a relaxed, safe and friendly atmosphere, or you wish to go into the arts a profession, we have the classes for you.

In April 2013 we moved into our own purpose built Dance studio, offering a large studio with a sprung floor, wall mounted ballet barres and wall mounted mirrors, a ground floor waiting room, with kitchen facilities and a disabled toilet, as well as a first floor changing area, toilet and office, we all love the new venue and are very proud to have a permanent home for Severn Valley.

We hold examinations twice a year and gain excellent results with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD).
