It’s hard to believe that Nichola’s stunning gown was pretty much taken apart and reconstructed 😱 Alterations included; detaching skirt, lifting the waist, reattaching skirt, including repositioning the zip and shortening rouleau loops; lifting the shoulders; major side seam alterations; darts for bust; extra hooks and eyes behind buttons on illusion back; bustle; some inner layers shortened!! As I kept loosing weight Helen knew the exact places the dress was becoming loose and fixed this so quickly and it fit so perfect on the day! Couldn’t recommend her enough! Ive never used this company before & my Blazer was in need of a quick last second alteration. Helen was extremely helpful and professional when i made contact about getting my Blazer altered & did the job so well & within my tight time constraints. I would definitely recommend Sew It Fits to anyone. If i could i would give this review 6 stars as my whole experience with Sew It Fits was absolutely brilliant.

I may be a year late (didn’t know this was your Facebook page!!) but Helen is absolutely amazing!! She had to make a lot of alterations to my wedding dress and she got it absolutely perfect! Helen worked her seamstress magic on my dress a week before the wedding and did more than expected to make me look and feel fabulous! She is an amazingly talented lady! Couldn't recommend her enough. Nicole

Helen was amazing, she squeezed a dress alteration in about 8 weeks before the big day for one of my bridesmaids, even though she wasn't planning on taking on any further work!

She made us feel so at ease, such a good laugh, and the dress itself (with a lot of intricate beading) she took in by a whole dress size, but hand sewn some beads back onto it without being able to notice it has been altered.

I would highly recommend sew it fits ! Planning a wedding can be dull at times so when you have someone as relaxed as Helen, charging next to nothing for alterations, it's a no brainier!

Helen took up my very complex beaded and laced wedding dress. She is so kind and extremely helpful! She did an amazing job you couldn't even tell it had been altered (lots of fiddly detail to the dress) can't recommend her enough!

Helen did an amazing jobs on my wedding dress and 2 of the bridesmaids dresses. Especially as one of the dresses she had to alter she had to change from a zip to corset with an amazing colour match and the other she had to do with no one to alter it too! I will use Helen if I ever need a dress altering again she is a phenomenal women, very inviting and made the wedding experience that little less bit stressful :)
