I genuinely love it when people show me how happy their little artists are with the finished piece! This is Nieve, age 5 with the framed canvas I embroidered for her Nanny!

This week's Sew Unique Artwork is by Nieve, aged 5. A gorgeous drawing now embroidered onto canvas and framed especially for her Nanny's birthday last week.

My first ever attempt for a Flat Lay photo for the #marchmeetthemaker challenge over on instagram!
Not entirely 'flat' but luckily I'm at Poynton Community Centre 11am - 3pm today for their first Food and Craft Market of 2019, so have all my pieces out ready to photo.

Anyone else have an excessive number of wax crayons collected from kids meals out?
Got any exciting ideas for using them?
I'm wondering if we can melt them and create something else? My 6 year old is very into science experiments at the moment!

What would you use a canvas case embroidered with your child's artwork for?
I use one as a pencil case when I go to networking meetings and the other as a make up bag for when I go to the gym. I've given 2 size examples in my Mothers Day Gift Guide but I can make to other sizes, so just let me know the dimensions you would like!
Last date for Mothers Day orders is Sunday March 17th.

There's only really 1 thing I dislike about my little business...
Ironing!!!
But I've gone crazy this week after realising we've had the same iron for the whole time me and my husband have lived together (13years now- eek!) and treated myself to this steamy little beast.

Does anyone else have this book? The Day the Crayons Quit. It's just brilliant!!!
There is a debate between yellow crayon and orange crayon, who both argue that they are the colour of the sun. What do you think?

Did you know...
If you already have a frame at home you would like to use, you are welcome to order the embroidered canvas on its own. (Cheaper for P&P too).
