A lovely place to walk round. A few different gardens to look at. You can enjoy it her at anytime of the year. There is a tiny zoo a cafe a few shops and of course the house. We go often and really enjoy it. Lots of children seem to enjoy it too.

The clock tower has been tastefully refurbished, good menu and service. The seating area clean and tidy with plenty of space. We did not visit the house this time but have been previously and this too was much improved with new displays and features. They have recently advertised afternoon teas in the old orangery with a piano being played, this needs to be booked in advance. The grounds are looking a little tired in autumn but still a pleasant walk, the small zoo is open still at this time of year as is the children's play area. Quite busy but adequate parking space with disabled parking, the grounds and house are reasonable wheelchair accessible too.

Great place for a day out! The gardens are beautiful, especially at this time of year! The zoo is definitely worth visiting too.

The cafe is overpriced though for the basic food choices it offers. I had a sandwich and the bread was a bit stale, it wasn't enjoyable at all and left me wishing I'd chosen something else... quite disappointing.

I can't fault anything else about Sewerby Hall - it's a nice place and I'd definitely go again, even if just to walk around the grounds.

Sewerby Hall can be reached via a lovely walk along the cliff top path, or by the land train from Bridlington. There is also a car park on site. Entry price includes the grounds, the small zoo, the house and the wonderful walled garden. There is also a very nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to visit.

Sewerby Hall is a great place for all ages to enjoy in an outstanding location and set in superbly presented gardens. The glorious monkey puzzle trees are particularly imposing.

Really good family day out, we took our 18 months year old and the in laws and all were kept well entertained. Never been to a period house like this before where so much has been included for children to interact with. So many of the exhibitions could be interacted with and you are openly encouraged to touch and play. There is even a period nursery with toys of the time for kids to play with.

When you enter the house kids are given an explorers kit (a little bag with a torch, magnifying glass etc ) to find hidden features around the house. A great little addition to the visit at no extra cost.

There grounds are great for all to wander around and the Zoo area (maybe a slightly grand title for what it actually is) is well set out. The play area is good for all age ranges.

The entrance fee is very reasonably priced, with some discount vouchers in a tourist leaflet we paid just over £5 per adult. Compared to other attractions on a similar level I would quite happily pay double this!

The only let done was the cafe. On the day we went there were problems in the kitchen and only about a third of the menu available.

All together a great day out for everyone and really well priced.

Great day out for all the family. Free car park you only have to pay admission into the hall and grounds. Vast grounds. Small animal enclosure but a must visit. Hall been recently refurbished and you can take the land train into Bridlington

Brilliant attraction. They have a beautiful, historic and interactive house with set timed tour guides available, a small zoo, paddocks with alpacas, beautiful gardens, lovely cafe with food at reasonable prices to mention but a few things. Cliff and sea view with easy access to a coastal path, a quaint cricket which have matches periodically and a lovely view from the top of the cliffs looking over Bridlington. You can actually get the little tourist 'land' train to and from Brid from here. Events are run all the time here, from jousting, to silly character walkabout shows from Rusticus Theatre, to piano concerts and much more.
The staff are always friendly. Dedicated, helpful and just generally pleasant people. A perfect place to bring the whole family. Fact.

Lovely grounds to walk around. Play area for the kids. Lovely little zoo and other animals such as llamas and deer 🦌 in the areas as you walk in and out. Nice for a picnic or there is a tea room. Large hall to look around too. Out of season you can park in the car park and enter the grounds for free to begin a nice walk along the promenade into Brid.

User

A good day out plenty for the kids to do a good. And well kept country house and zoo and a large play area for the kids large gardens to walk round and cafe well worth a day out

User

Lovely house & grounds. Great views of North sea

User

Great visit for everyone, loads of things on when we visited and a lovely walk along the cliffs to Bridlington itself. Easily spend the whole day here and not spend too much either.

Good way to spend an afternoon. The zoo is compact but has a good range of animals including penguins. Make sure you say hello to Ecky the parrot. The children's play area is decent. We didn't go in the house. Pricing was fair.
