Great food good staff

It took longer than I wanted to get served but once we did we had excellent service excellent food. It was very busy but staff coped in a professional manner.

Found this place by accident, glad we did, serves quality, tasty food. Had the ' beat the clock ' option: two courses for £10.95 between 5 and 6.30pm. Attractive place and friendly staff.

Shakesby's restaurant Horncastle is very nice and my friends had their reception there and it was very nice with friendly service expertise and assistance; somewhere to go for a treat

Great fine dine

Shakesby' s is my favourite restaurant and my husband and I have been eating there for about ten years. Last week I celebrated a special birthday so my husband arranged surprise meal for me and my family. The food was amazing as usual ; the staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was so thrilled with the evening and should like to say a big thank you to the manager for all the help and assistance he gave my husband in making it a very special birthday.

What do you do when you forgot its your anniversary but he didn't? How do you react when he turns up with the flowers, a card, your favourite handmade Belgian chocolates and your mother stood right next to him smiling, obviously in on the act. What could you do when he announces that you should go get changed because he is taking us out for our tea and mother is going to look after the little one. All you can do is look at him across the softly lit restaurant with the reflection of the candle flame dancing in his eyes. You try to take it all in and savour those well timed moments between courses when all you can do is smile at him... He smiles back... 5 years on and we are still dating...
