Do you have any unwanted dog coats, dog food, treats, blankets, beds? Our stylist Natalie is helping out on the Streets of Leeds donating to the homeless and their dogs! Human jumpers, coats and blankets are also needed to keep the owners warm this winter! If anyone has anything they could donate please drop it into the shop for Nat to take along! Many thanks

As some of you know on Sunday Me (Charlotte) and Darcy took part in the British Dog Grooming Championships, we were in a huge class of 22 and received some brilliant feedback from the judges! Taking part was a hard decision after the very recent loss of my partner in crime and best friend Ellie but after a lot of persuasion from friends and family members we went and competed for Ellie and hope we did her proud ❤️🐾

💔There is no easy way to say this but I feel it right to inform you of the very sudden, unexpected and tragic loss of one of our valued members of the Shampooch family! Ellie has been with Shampooch for 4 years and was just starting out her career as a dog stylist, she was so very talented and adored her job and each and every one of the dogs! Please can I ask for your patience and understanding at this heartbreaking time as we try come to terms with this 💔 Rest Easy my dear friend, thank you for being such a huge part of Shampooch, You will be so deeply missed 💔

A few of today’s lovely furries - 6 month old cocker spaniel Etty and 4 month old doodle Stanley came for their first grooms, spice the toy poodle for her regular 6 weekly pamper and Molly & Oliver the JRT crosses also in for a bath and tidy up 😍🐶

We have had no warning about this and have no information to how long it will take! New Street outside the shop is closed so not available for parking, sorry for the inconvenience 😩

Geo the lab is loving his bath and de-shed this morning 😍🐶 ❓Did you know ❓ Removing the undercoat on double coated breeds such as labradors, pugs, akitas and border collies helps them to stay cooler in the hot weather as it frees up the top layer of guard hairs which insulate your pet keeping them cool in summer and warm in winter as well as protecting them from the suns harmful rays and also to some extent insect bites 🐾

Took my very nervous and scared cocker spaniel here yesterday after struggling to find a groomer where my dog didn't come back a shivering wreck. Dog came out wagging her tail and so much happier than previous experiences with groomers. Charlotte and staff were lovely and did a brilliant cut on my dog. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Thank you so much Leanne for doing little Max’s first cut! He looks lovely so pleased with it, looking forward to keeping him coming there for his hair cuts �� fab job � xxxxx

Shampooch is the best Dog Groomers I have ever been to. They are so friendly and really love your animals so you dont mind leaving them there...Ollie always come's back in an immaculate condition. ..when he's gone in smelly lol...I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shampooch xxx

Paddy went for the first time today. He looks beautiful and after telling them how I wanted him cut they delivered! Lovely girls, full of love for the pooches. You know your fur babies are in safe hands with them. Booked his next cut and he can't wait to come back xx

Our first visit and couldn't be happier Woody and Lola look look lovely and smell divine. Woody has quite a long thick coat bring a retriever but Charlotte has done an amazing job on his coat and he will be a lot cooler throughout the summer. Excellent service very friendly staff highly recommended x

Omg these people are amazing tried everywhere to get izzy's nails done thought it would have to be the vets for sedation they even tried with a muzzle on at other shops!! . Not this 1 Totally different they calmed izzy down as she is terrified of getting her nails clipped done and dusted in under 5 mins no muzzle no stress amazing girls will be back next month definitely so impressed and so polite and caring massive thank you izzy and owner xx

My Tibetan Terrier Barney has been going to see Charlotte at Shampooch for years. He goes in not only shaking but looking like no man's dog and comes out bouncing about, as happy as any dog can get and looking stunning. Charlotte has a real affection with animals and it comes across immediately, putting scared dogs like mine at ease. Being disabled I can't always get Barney to the groomers or get there to collect him, but Charlotte very kindly sorts the logisitics for me and drops him off, not many groomers are kind enough to do that. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough! X

Just picked up my 4 month old Westie pup Bobby who had his first trim today. All the girls at the shop were brilliant with him. He went in looking like a proper little scruff and came out looking ready for the red carpet ��� couldn't recommend this place enough... top job �

Jessie loves her visits to Shampooch even though she is a tough, mud-loving, fox poo rolling terrier who is at her happiest on the moors in the pouring rain! As a rescue dog, she can be difficult but Charlote has a wonderful way and Jessie will let her even brush her teeth!!! Charlotte and her staff are caring, professional and extremely patient; Jessie always leaves looking fantastic and very proud of herself!!! Thank you!!!

Jake and Elwood Blues love Charlotte and are more than happy to go for their pampering with her every few months. They are chocolate cockerpoos who always come home looking really well trimmed and super cute !

I was very anxious about taking my dog to a new groomer �... he can be temperamental. But he looks amazing was handled very well, will definitely recommend and also continue to send him

I have an elderly Cavalier King Charles and a young Shih Tzu who often go to Charlotte in a scruffy smelly state. She hands them back to me beautifully groomed and sweet smelling. The dogs are happy going there and seem to enjoy their pamper. Jasper was so relaxed today he had to be woken up on my return. Friendly staff and excellent service provided. Would recommend to anybody.

Freddie has been coming here since he was twelve weeks old they are the best he loves going and is always chilled when we pick him up and he looks fab too people always ask me where do I take him fab job

Charlotte always grooms our active cocker brilliantly, she loves going there for the social life as much as the groom! When we needed to use another groomer in the south (extended family visit), Charlotte wrote down her exact requirements so she’d look almost as good as normal! Nothing is too much trouble, a caring, professional environment with excellent staff, totally recommend them.

Barney hates getting in the bath at home. but take him to Charlotte and he's raring to go. her love for her job shines through. thank you x
