Wow, what an amazing experience. The service we received was first class. The staff were so very friendly and catered for every single need. The room was fantastic with stunning views. Enjoyed my bath in the window with views over the city. The king size bed was so comfy and we slept so well. Had a lovely dip in the pool. What a fantastic birthday I had, thank you.

Wow! What an experience! After walking through London crowds, this is a place in the clouds that is so relaxing and another world although you can still see all the sights! We entered our room to the blinds opening and presenting a 180 degree view of London. Lots of lovely touches in the room such as cold milk for coffee, Nespresso machine, complimentary chocs. The bed was so comfy and huge! Our meal in the restaurant was amazing. Very expensive but the quality and quantity was spot on. All the staff were very attentive. Even after check out we were then offered a glass of champagne to saviour the last of the views! You have to stay here at least once in your life!!

What an experience. From the room to the pool, to the fabulous accommodating staff, to the lunch. Such a fantastic time we had. Thank you.

We stayed on the 49th floor and the views of north east london are fantastic. The room was lovely and well equipped. The staff were attentive and pleasent.

The service and quality were exceptional. We felt very pampered, yet the staff was relaxed in a friendly and warm way. There were a few problems when we arrived, which the staff handled first-rate. Also, the food in The Ting restaurant was spectacular.

Shangri-la hotel is an absolute must. We have just got back from our third stay at the hotel and yet again it was an incredible experience. Although our room this time did not have the best of views, I was extremely pleased to of been given a bath tub upon request as I was recovering from surgery. The room was lovely bar a little party going on above our room that was a little noisy but it wasn’t too much of an issue. Staff are always happy to help in anyway and make you feel special. For dinner we ate at oblix. We have eaten many places and dine out regularly all over the uk and oblix has to be the most exquisite food I have ever tasted. It is an absolute must if staying in the shard or London. The bbq blackened cod and crispy squid is to die and has left me salavating 24hrs later. Amazing hotel and restaurant. Booked to come back for the end of June for our anniversary, SUPER excited!! Left feeling like a princess. 👸💗

Amazing views, amazing room and bathroom. Staff were very professional and helpful.

I can’t think of a more gorgeous hotel and to see the look of stunned disbelief on my husbands face was priceless.

Opulent high-end hotel located in the Shard Tower. Very friendly staff everywhere. Had to put my foot down regarding the check-in time as the room was not ready at 3pm. We are kindly upgraded to a slightly larger room. Very happy about that!! The views are worth it. Same with the immaculate dream bed. Perfect!

Nothing to dislike. Food, ambience and of course the champagne perfect. Very modern and beats the Ritz for afternoon tea.

My wife and I stayed at the Shangri-La hotel the weekend just passed, as well as the obvious amazing views day and night over the capital, the stay was exceptional, staff there cannot do enough. We were lucky enough to have a private bar next to the Gong bar and enjoyed cocktails and canapés (The canapés were...... well compliments to chef for those, perfect!!), next to the infinity pool overlooking a clear night time view of London. If you get the chance to stay there you should.

Had such a wonderful birthday at this beautiful hotel last week! A special thank you to Errol (Doorman) for your enthusiasm and friendliness, Andrius (Concierge) for your assistance and to the housekeeping staff that kept our suite in tip top condition. Hope to return soon!

Gorgeous views of London and decor is on point from the flowers to the furniture and heated toilets!!

Everything and more - just beautiful -the ambience of the hotel is relaxed , sophisticated and calming - the views from all rooms - the best , just exhilarating to stand and stare at our beautiful capital wherever you might be in the hotel - food delicious - a real treat .

However it’s the staff that deserve a special mention , so polite , so well spoken , extremely smart and could not do enough for you .

Another amazing stay here for our 3 year anniversary. Staff couldn’t do enough, room and view were unreal, can’t wait to stay again. Would like to see more vegan options on the menu next time but other than that a perfect stay!!

I normally go for Aqua Shard so decided to change the venue. Before committing to a full-blown Friday evening with my family. First impression was good, greeted by the host in a friendly welcoming manner, asked if we have coat to deposit to the clock room. Web arrived early so were advise to have a drink in the bar, staff very helpful and efficient.



Once we seated to our table and host offered a stool to put my bag rather than in a floor, which was a nice touch. We don’t have a window table though it was plenty of space. We had Duck & Foie Gras, Salmon & Scallop to start; followed by Fillet Steaks and Cornish Lobster that’s were cooked to perfections. Definitely complement to the Chef! Great service however I did feel I have better experienced of personal touches in Aqua Shard.



Overall the restaurant was outstanding and beautiful ambiance.

Although the greet, the room and the view were amazing, the overall experience of the Shangri-la was on par with a Premier Inn!!!! The meal at the Aqua Shard was less than acceptable and this mornings breakfast didn’t reach our expectations either. The coffee was lukewarm, the explanation regarding the Al a Carte breakfast was confusing, two specific orders were wrong and we even had to grab a waiter for a glass of orange juice! We’ve stayed at The Ritz, The Waldorf and The Savoy and even though the £700 per night charge was on a par with these other hotels, the lasting memory of the place will absolutely stop me from ever visiting again. Such a disappointing shame 😩

The thing I can’t get over is the price of the place. I get that when you go to a premium place you pay a premium price, but let’s look at the maths of this. £16 for a single measure of gin. Tonic is extra. Let’s just let that sit there, one 25ml measure of gin costs £16. That means a bottle of gin would cost £640.

For me that’s prohibitively expensive.
