Good Afternoon shardlow marina, just a quick note to say due to the demand in water at the marina we are experiencing severe low pressure from 9am until midday. We do apologise if you are one of those that caught out in the shower block today when the water just trickled. We are looking at how we can rectify this situation.

User

Hey shardlow marina, we really loved staying on the camp site last weekend, I cant agree with the other comments, I thought it was lovely, there was 7 of us camping, 3 tents and found it all fab !! Carol

User

Great site, poor facilities, would go again but though.... Smithy's FAB but food average... could be better...

We have stayed at Shardlow on numerous occasions and have had great times. The location is great with beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the management isn't overly helpful and when approached with a complaint quick to try and pass the blame. This has happened on numerous times and with different people from our party.

The gate on site has continuously got problems and can't always be opened. Don't expect to get in or out in an emergency as discovered by us on our last visit. An ambulance sat waiting for nearly 10 minutes to get into to the site is not acceptable. Really disappointed with the way it was dealt with. Not sure we will be visiting again!

Used this site for 2 seasons . Great location , nice pubs. Downside . Often very busy and facilities are not adequate for number of users. Was paying on average £16.50 per night last season. This year it costs us £24 for a 2 berth caravan and 2 dogs. Massive hike from last year and no improvements. Shower block still has tiles missing from last year . May have added 2 new shower curtains in the gents block possibly primark quality at best. Just not value for money anymore . It's off our list of favourites now

User

think its bad prices going up £4 a night and £2 a night for a dog theres nothing there to do we have been going there for 8 years people doing as they like dogs not no lead and running around its cheaper to go to skegg

User

The staff are rude that's just the start. They take £20 for. Key give you nap and leave you to struggle with very badly signed campsite additionally There are large gangs of very rowdy people all over we're playing loud music until 4 am no security when we complained they simply said its always like this the toilets are porta cabins the only showers are in a very long way off this is the worst and very overpriced it's ice stayed in for many years we packed up a day early couldn't stand it any longer DONT GO !!
