Working in partnership with the University o Essex, BDO, Birketts, Colchester Borough Council, Essex County Council and the Eastern Enterprise Hub, the recently open Knowledge Gateway studio offers space and mentoring for teams who want to setup their own games development studio.

The programme runs for 6 months and has weekly “expert” sessions. The sessions cover all aspect of game a business development including, games design, graphics, monetisation, accountancy, IP ownership and business planning. All fully supported by highly experienced people from each of the specialist areas. The culmination of this is that each team will have a demonstrable product, business plan and pitch that they will present to potential investors.

The overall aim is to help build and grow the video games industry here in Essex and East Anglia.
