Sharky's Swimmers

Hi my name is Anna Bentley and I am the founder and organiser of Sharky’s Swimmers Ltd.

Having only 3 children per class for our beginner swimmers with the teacher in the water is a great benefit. The improver and advanced classes have 4 children and the teacher is on the side. This structure helps children learn to swim with the support and personalised teaching that they need to succeed.

Children are organised into classes that best suit their needs. If you have more than one swimmer in your family it is often possible to have both swimmers in the water at the same time, in different classes.

Swimmers are welcome from the age of 3 upwards for lessons. Parents do not need to be in the water at this point but is recommended that prior swimming experience is gained so that the children are comfortable in the water on their own with the teacher.

Before the age of 3 Sharky’s Little Swimmers is an ideal way to get your little one confident in the water and ready to take instructions from a teacher. In this session we sing songs, play games and teach the children how to be safe in water (children are never too young to learn these vital life saving skills). There is also time for some free play with the toys.

Sharky's Swimmers runs classes at two locations:

Woodlands School, Allestree
Cloudside School, Sandiacre

Improvers
Advanced & Pre-Club style sessions (Competitive Swimming)
