Sheffield Hallam University social work, social care and community studies students are currently spending two weeks in Calais and Dunkirk, helping to provide a mobile educational service to displaced refugees as part of The School Bus - Mobile Education for Refugees.
Many refugees remain in northern France after the 'Jungle' was dismantled two years ago and student volunteers will work with children and families who remain living there in poor conditions.
Sukey Tarr, senior ...lecturer in the department for social work and social care, said: "Not only will the project support the personal and educational development of the refugee community, it will also provide our students with hands-on experience of working with some of the most vulnerable members of society"

There are 5 other girls in the house, 4 of which are in their third year at Hallam and 1 on a placement year. It's such a lovely student house in a great location and reasonable price.

The accommodation has a communal laundry room with reasonable prices, a common room with pool, a gym and Parking is also available for an additional fee. There are 3 boys and 1 girl also in the flat who are really easy to get along with.
