The story of Sheridan Marine began in 1972 on the banks of the picturesque River Thames between Oxford and Reading - right in the heart of England.

Initially running as the, well-renowned, 'Thames Explorers' river holiday boat charter on board Freeman Cruiser boats, later establishing an ever increasing boatyard workshop, boat parts store and manufacturing supply chain for all kinds of boating projects.

A long the way we have established a unique, historic, and very British collection of brands that we continue to manufacture and supply spare parts for the marine industry; focusing on Freeman Cruisers, WaterMota Petrol Engines, British Seagull Outboards and J-Type Gearboxes.

With well over 40 years of marine experience, Sheridan Marine is very much a family operated British business with traditional values and motivation to serve our clients with the products and service they deserve. Along with our physical working boatyard and retail shop on the River Thames in England our reach of service is expanding through our growing online business sheridanmarine.com.
