Sherwood Pines Cycles

Long drive to ride the trails today, arrived to discover I'd left my through axel at home when loading the bike... Enter these guys, super helpful with sorting me out a ride for the day, and with info about what to try while there. Great shop and super helpful staff. Many thanks!

Very poor after market sales brought a pre owned bike it had a problem with the front forks they said they would order new parts and phone me and fit them for me so I said ok left the shop with my new bike and never herd from them again went back two weeks later said they are still waiting for the parts and they would phone me when they come it's now 3 month's ago still no phone call

Really nice place to visit, the MTB trail is not to difficult to master on the first run round, a well stocked bike shop and the bike hire is not to costly with all safety equipment supplyed. The cafe is well priced and the staff are friendly. There is a Go Ape on site too as well as segways. All round a good place.

Was there for the race today, popped in to get some gels. Was impressed at the prices, much cheaper than most trail cycle shops. Very friendly service. Could not have been a better experience, thanks a lot!

The workshop guys are always so helpful giving honest and well informed advice. If you need an urgent repair they are usually willing to do it straight away unlike other shops where you have to book in for days/weeks later.
The shop is well stocked with well priced bikes and kit.
Plus its a great place to ride a bike.

Great shop and service centre. Often able to roll the bike in for an on the spot repair. Knowledgeable and friendly staff too.

I've now used sherwood for 2 demos and a rental service and I've never been impressed by the service.

Here's why;

You can't pre book so are never guaranteed to get a bike

They do not set the bike up for the rider. E.g. suspension sag and not even saddle height

I haven't got on a demo or rental yet where the gears worked correctly

The brakes are never well maintained on any bikes

I wanted a premium bike but they had non to offer

I've done demosand rentals at dalby and cannock chase and the service and knowledge of the staff is 100x better

I cycle in Sherwood pines regularly and I can honestly say the guys in the cycle shop are so friendly and helpful they go above and beyond to help you they are top of the class to me

Been to sherwood pines many many times and I can honestly say the staff in the bike shop are the most ignorant,arrogant people I have ever met.I will never ever go in that shop ever again.Needed a scewer as I'd foolishly left mine at home £50 they wanted,thats when they could be bothered to make eye contact with me..never again.
