MENOPAUSE TOP FACTS & TIPS BOOKMARKS HAVE ARRIVED!
I'm looking to distribute 500 of these over the next 2 months, especially around the Gloucestershire area, but I'm excited to see how far they travel.
I'm passionate about getting knowledge to women who are in their 40s and wonder why their life has just turned upside down and on visiting the doctors are offered very few answers or solutions.
... There are solutions out there, and some TOP TIPS are on this bookmark, as well as TOP FACTS to take along to your GP to let them know your symptoms and are natural and can be dealt with naturally!

"SMELLS HEAVENLY" ... I'M LOOKING FOR TESTERS!
I'm working with a fantastic organic & essential oils skincare company to bring you a blend of cream that can help with relieving the intensity of hot flushes and uplifting your moods.
We'd been testing with oils (in a roller ball), but a few instances recently have made me realise that you need the ability to put on as much of this product as you want, and so we're now looking at a cream.

Transforming Anger to Light

When we have anger that is lingering, we can give it to the earth to transmute and give a new purpose.
As humans, we all have anger, sometimes more than others. A healthy way of purging our anger from our bodies is to give it to Mother Earth. We can imagine ourselves being grounded as the electrical energy passes from us into Mother Earth below. We can see that energy go straight to the earth's core where it becomes part of the continuous growth process of our planet and is transformed from negative to positive, from dark to light. When we choose to give our anger to the earth, we trust our connection with the natural world we live in and the great universe that fuels it all. Mother Earth will lovingly transform your anger into light so no need to feel guilty about unloading to her.
We can make this offering of our energy from any location, whether many stories up or on a ship at sea. We know the earth is below us, supporting us and sustaining us. If we have the opportunity to physically connect to the earth by going outdoors and touching unpaved ground, we may find it easier to connect to nature's energy flow. It may also be easier to receive the flow of positive, calming, healing energy that comes to fill our bodies when we have emptied ourselves of our anger. To begin, sit and breathe deeply, ask Mother Earth to accept your anger, and imagine it coming down your spine out of your tailbone, and into the earth's deep core. To finish, be sure to honor and thank the earth for her loving service.
When we work with our anger this way, we acknowledge that like everything else it is merely energy that can be used positively or negatively. During our grounding meditation, we may be given direction to channel this energy for its best use. We may find that the earth can help us cleanse misplaced energy to use for its rightful purpose. When we do this with gratitude, we know that we are not misusing the earth for our own selfish purposes. Instead we are connecting ourselves with the energy of our homeland, and when we do this we nurture the earth as it nourishes us.

SHIATSU RESEARCH- CAN A ROBOT HELP?
It's difficult to do a blind study of shiatsu as how do you create a control group where people have 'touch therapy' but no technical therapeutic touch?
One person suggested a Robot giving a Shiatsu!

I've just spent a fascinating hour on a European webinar listening to Dr Andrea Kleinau talk about her PHD where she spent 2 years collating data of Shiatsu studies. Out of 1765, she could only use 6, due to control restrictions.

SLEEP STEALERS...
Just why do our favourite things play havoc with our sleep?
CAFFEINE
... Caffeine can interfere with the process of falling asleep and prevent deep sleep. Recent research suggests that coffee may also impact on sleep by slowing down your internal clock. In one study, consuming a double espresso three hours before bedtime delayed the production of melatonin by about 40 minutes.
SUGAR
A recent study suggests that a diet high in sugar is bad news when it comes to sleep. The study shows that sugar caused participants to wake up during the night. If you consume a lot of sugary foods and drinks close to bedtime you’re likely to get a sharp energy boost in the early hours.
ALCOHOL
After a night of heavy drinking you may find it easier to fall asleep (or, you know, just pass out), but alcohol disrupts the patterns and cycles that occur during sleep. Drinking alcohol can make you go straight into a deep sleep, but this means you miss out on the first stage of sleep (REM). Over the course of a good night’s sleep you should have six to seven REM cycles,which can be reduced to only 2.
SPICE
Research suggests that a decrease in body temperature triggers a sense that it’s time to go to sleep. In one study, participants who ate a meal with Tabasco and mustard took longer to fall asleep and slept less compared to nights when they had not consumed a spicy meal. Hot baths may also help you sleep as your body temperature drops quickly after the bath.

That what you eat and drink in the evening beforehand has a big impact on your sleep. Sugars in your food and drink are processed and hit your small intestine about 3 to 5 hours after eating, this is releasing energy into your blood stream whilst you're asleep. Mum and I have been buying 'Pens for nails' for years from a well know high street shop. Since I've started working with essential oils I've realised that Sweet Almond Oil is easily available and so I've got my own roller ball version now.
Sweet Almond oil is fantastic for moisturising our skin and it works well on cuticles too, it's full of vitamin E, vitamin A, monosaturated fatty acids, protein, potas...sium, and zinc. ... with Vitamin E is an extremely powerful antioxidant. So then I wondered if there were any other oils out there that I could add to strengthen my nails further, after some research I've come up with a blend that smells fantastic, is great for nails and I've found relieving heat in the forehead :)
APPLICATION IS KEY
No matter which oil you choose, apply one to two drops onto each of your nail cuticles. Massage the oil around the cuticles and then upward over the entire surface of each nail. It’s important to apply the oil to the cuticle, as well as the nail, to nourish the new growth directly underneath it. Instead of massaging it in, you can soak your nails for 15 minutes in a small bowl of water and then apply the oil to softened cuticles and nails for maximum absorbancy!
