Wow, what a day! We only had a visit from the President of the United States lovely daughter Tiffany Trump and her Mum Marla. What lovely, down to earth people they were too. Was a pleasure to meet them 😊😊

What an amazing shop, I've never seen my husband quite so happy to be in a shop! The lovely people did a better job at parting him of his wages than I've ever managed to and we left with a lot of things we didn't know just how much we needed until we found them today. Thanks for a great time and looking forward to ordering more lovelies

What a wonderful shop. Loads of interesting and large variety of items and cloths and the couple in there are always so friendly and helpful. Will always visit when in in the area.

Well finally got to visit you today and it didn't let me down, what a great shop, the owners must be the most friendly people in Glastonberry, we both came out thinking we had known you both forever. The items for sale in the shop are suburb and extremly good qaulity if you are the least bit interested in the Vikings you have to visit this shop. I will wear my belt bag with pride knowing where it came from and thank you both for making the visit such an enjoyable one. We will be back.

Visited Shield Maiden in Glastonbury (from California, USA). It was filled with delightful Heathen objects, and I came away with a perfect Norse style garment. The staff was friendly and informative, and I found myself coming back for a second visit during my short time in Glastonbury. I'm very glad to see the Norse Gods included in the whole Glastonbury experience!

This is a truly magnificent shop, everything is top quality unlike some others and I will definitely be back.

This amazing shop with its amazing staff has become one of my 'return-to' places when we next come back to Glastonbury. Not only did my hubby and I buy some great original T-Shirts from ShieldMaiden, but when my hubby left some shopping bought in another store, in another bag in the shop, and we got home to South Wales to discover it missing, the honest people in the shop had put a post on this site letting people know that someone had left a bag, and to get in touch, which we did, and not only did they post it back to us, but when we said about sending the postage through via bank transfer, they said just to simply drop in the money the next time we come!! Fantastic customer service, and really great to deal with! We'll be back! Denise and Gareth xx

One of my all-time favourite shops - an incredibly unique, atmospheric and ethical business that’s clearly run by people who live and breathe the Viking aesthetic. Really welcoming and friendly vibe from the moment you step in - if you ever need a recommendation for mead, this is the place to come. Love it.

Made a visit into the shop last week and picked up a bottle of Black Phillip after a recommendation. Best advice I've ever taken!!

I visited this store for the first time while on a trip to the Tor with my fianceé and little boy this weekend gone, instantly greeted by big smiles upon entering. The store has some lovely crafts and great Viking gear!

I love this shop so much. Fiona and Stu take the time to hunt down really unusual and quality pieces. Every time I go in there is something new to drool over.

Oh and there is Mead.��

I had previously visited the shop and had a very warm welcome. I contacted shield maiden about a hoodie they sell. The customer service was excellent. I was sent photos and the hoodie was delivered straight away. This was a gift for my sons 18th Birthday. This shop is definitely worth visiting.

Came here with my partner on Sunday just gone.
