Yes YES AND YES. Best sushi and ramen I have had in UK for a long time. This place is quality and great portion size. Head chef bought the soft shell crab to the table. Really lovely people and top food

Some of the best sushi I have eaten and probably the best meal I've had in Cov all year. Superb. And the soft shell crab is unmissable. Brilliant.

Our new favourite restaurant in Coventry! You MUST try the chicken karage (Japanese fried chicken) and the gyozas! The pork tonkotsu ramen was delicious, with pork that was tender and satisfying. I'm from Vancouver, where we are spoiled by incredible Japanese food and I'm happy to say the Shin Ramen met my high expectations - it's the real deal. It's seriously better than most places I've tried in central London (like Bone Daddy and Tonkotsu in Soho).



The ambiance is great, versatile for a date or a meal with all your friends. Loved the music they played.



Tip: to find it, Google BBC Coventry. Also, remember to ask for chili oil with your meal.



Improvements: my only minor issue was the egg which accompanies the ramen, it was over cooked (yolk should be soft and jelly like) and not marinated enough. Also, it was unclear whether the bill was going to be brought to us or is we should pay up front. A quick word from the server could easily solve this.



Do yourself a favour and try out this vibrant and delicious new restaurant. If you find yourself dragged to the Coventry Ikea, you'll have 4 hours free parking so walk here for ramen afterwards, you got yourself a great day!

Insanely delicious food with a really great atmosphere. The staff were helpful with describing the food and provided a great service throughout. The discount for paying with cash is even better!

It's great to have a laid back and friendly eatery in the city centre like Shin. Priory Place has gone downhill a lot over the years, but by attracting great places like this, it will hopefully regenerate the area.

Had dinner at Ramen a few times now and will definitely be back asap! Independant, stylish and original, with authentic and healthy food, great atmosphere, and a menu that makes you want to try all the dishes on it! Oh, make sure you are hungry when you go there - the portions are pretty generous and the food tastes so good you feel the need to finish it off, and you MUST leave some room for mochi! :)

Had a little birthday lunch here with friends today – everything was delicious! Excellent wakame salad, takoyaki (octopus pastries), seafood and champion ramen, pork and kimchi bibimbap and yuzu mochi to finish off. So pleased to have this gem of a place in Coventry. Going to drag all my friends here!

Food great, I will return to try other dishes.

First place to think of when hungry and want some nice food. Never failed to deliver. Been always addicted to the Champon and Tonkotsu ramen, but tried sashimi and I think I'll never leave the place without overeating!

Excellent staff, food totally amazing, so much of it thought it was for two people.

Great Japanese restaurant, which offers a pretty tasty ramen and good sushi plus a lot of different dishes to share with friends.

Price is good, even without disscont.

We went tonight and it was meh. My husband ordered the chicken karaage ramen and the broth was lacking which is what a ramen is about. I ordered the pork curry and it was probably the worst one I've had, it was a little watery and just the flavor wasn't there. My son ordered the yakitori, which I guess was ok since he ate it and also the beef gyudon bowl, it was nice that it was in a hot stone bowl but the beef were sort of cubed when it should have been thinly sliced. We didn't order any sushi, maybe next time and maybe that's what's good. This place just didn't seem Japanese like I'm used to and it was what I was expecting since they claim to be authentic.

I don't understand why this place is highly rated. The ramen was decent. However, we were served tuna and salmon sashimi that had a very fishy taste, a big no-no for sashimi. Clearly the fish wasn't fresh. This is basic for a sushi place in my opinion.

I calling for order and collect in 20 minutes with 2 Tonkuso ramen. But when I back home and open meal. There is no katsu the pork meat in soup. And we call back for a reply. The waitress still doesn't believe there is no meat in noodle. Just a bad experience I had in Coventry.
