Brilliant band !

We went to the ship inn for the band night and what a night we had. It was our first time there and won't be our last. Very friendly and drinks well priced.

We watched On the rocks on Saturday 4th November a great band. Cheep beer and friendly staff.

Sunday lunch was very good quality and plenty of it.friendly staff and a very nice pub.

Such a great night watching the Red Shoes live band. The place was buzzing. Such a good atmosphere packed out with people dancing and getting into the party atmosphere. Great prices on drinks too! :)

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. 1st sunday lunch here and it did not disappoint... Was gorgeous! Definately dine here again.

Really busy whenever I have been in but by god food is really good value and extremely filling.

Lots of old posts on here. Been coming here on and off over the years but more so recently. Has recently been taken over too about a year ago. Staff lovely and managers great. A good proper pub. Different things every night. Quiz on Tuesdays, bit of bingo Wednesday and live music Saturdays. Lots of regulars and the staff are pouring your drink as you enter. We have been coming back here more and more as its a ten minute walk. Nice crowd too. Recently had a wake here and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Buffet spot on and lots of it. Cater for veggies, gluten free, everyone really.

Just been in for scran, had double cheese burger and homemade chips, was lush and decent price.

Had a lovely evening for friends 60th birthday. Staff really helpful, reserving us an area, rearranging the seating and tables. Very friendly nothing a bother. Drinks very reasonable, music just in the background and fab.

Brillant place lovely atmosphere. Lucy and Nick plus all staff friendly and welcoming. Live bands love visiting for a great night out. Highly recommended x

Being an occasional visitor to catch up with friends I'm always impressed by the friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced great quality beer and good efficient staff a first rate establishment all round.

A fabulous convivial atmosphere with a hint of a time gone by, warm friendly staff and sunday dinners like mother used to make. i do miss Harry though. xxxxxxx

We had Sunday lunch here after attending a family christening at Blue Flames nearby. Our meal was the least expensive we have had for some time and very tasty. The drinks were very reasonable also. Will return.

Sunday roast was amazing - all home cooked, Izzy was made welcome, we will be back x

Would have had a 5 but two miserable old codgers made our first 10 mins uncomfortable but staff were marvellous & sorted it out immediately- well done xxx
