It's that time of year again everyone!
For over a decade now, this sleepy little pub has been home to two annual music festivals that literally rock the river Teign.
The Annual August Bank Holiday Music Festival is only what the audience makes it. So put on your dancing shoes and bust a groove to some soul smashing funk!
... This is a totally FREE event!

Our restaurant is open normal hours over the bank holiday & there will be a BBQ outside from the early afternoon until late evening.

always go the ship when we come for holiday at Teignmouth good drink staff very friendly

We love going to the Back beach at Teignmouth and it’s great finding a place to sit with our dog and enjoy the changing view as we have a drink or the amazing two course meal for two people for £15.00.!!! We started our meal outside but as the night drew in and the seagulls arrived we decided to have or main course inside. It is a lovely friendly pub and dogs welcome downstairs which suited us fine. A perfect end to a lovely sunny evening.

Looking forward to music fest later in the month.

The food was brilliant, and we did the offer of 2 courses for 2 for £15 brilliant value and great tasting food. We also could not decide which wine so the bar man let us try all the whites, we felt very looked after and the staff we all very friendly, thank you

Once again we found ourselves drawn back to the ship Inn. The staff were great and can not do enough to make you feel at home and the food is excellent. Thank you especially to Ellie for her cuddles to my youngest daughter who loves seeing her each time we go there, also to Ruth, Donna and Lisa who made us very welcome and the bar lads. Many thanks cu in May. The WIlliams family

Me and my wife just called in for a pint we thought the pub was great and In a great location also the staff were very friendly.

A welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere made us feel like we wanted to stay. Good range of ales, lager, ciders on offer and efficient polite bar staff. 😊

Unlike many of the pubs and bars in Shaldon & Teignmouth, this one will not disappoint 😊🍻🥂🙌

A friendly pub in a great location. The food was fantastic - we had the steak and the sea bass - delicious. Highly recommended for a visit.

Very nice food, pizzas tho you can share between 2 people, nice surroundings, ordered on our table Extra portion of onion rings and they were different to the ones that came with my steak and not so nice

Just a quick visit to indulge in a pint of Tribute in the sunshine. A proper pub, wuth with proper beer. Been a few times, dare say I'll be there seceral several times more this trip.

If you want a proper comfy pub with a real fire good atmosphere anf fab food this is the one. Good place to spend those long winter dYs in

Having recently moved to Teignmouth , I think it's fair to say the The Ship is

becoming one of our favourite places, whether it's just drinks at the bar or like last night a lovely meal in the restaurant. Service was excellent, friendly, helpful and we will definately be going back again. Particular thanks to Ruth in the restaurant.

Great locateion at seafront, had lovely steak dinner in nautical themed pub,, friendly staff.

Been coming in here most of my life, obviously not the same owners but always fond memories as my grandparents always bought us here.

On the last visit the mussels were plump and absolutely delicious but disappointed this time because only 3 mussels were plump and the rest of them were tiny and shrivelled up as if they been previously cooked and just put into the sauce.

I will try again next time I’m in the area and hope the mussels are much better.
