Shipston Proms

Shipston on Stour's Annual Musical Proms Festival. Our series of events aim to cover all musical tastes and takes place over two weeks.

Shipston on Stour Proms Music Festival sets out to put on a range of music for all tastes and ages, encouraging participation by as many local musicians as possible.
The Festival is a non-profit organisation run by a small independent group of people to provide a platform for the amazing array of talent in the area and beyond.
The climax of the two week festival is a spectacular ‘Last Night of the Proms’ event in the High Street, which features a range of artists including the winners of the Shipston 'Fame’ contest, which runs throughout the fortnight. Previous ‘Last Nights’ have included Dr. Feelgood, Mike Sanchez, James Hunter, The Animals, The Hamsters, Geno Washington and The Ram Jam Band, Bob Marley tribute band, Legend, also the Blockheads.
