Shoebox Theatre Description
The Shoebox Theatre is a 50 seat flexible studio space in the heart of Swindon's cultural quarter. Managed by Wrong Shoes Theatre Company, the space supports new and contemporary work, hosts an exciting programme of contemporary theatre and provides quality theatre training.
Working in collaboration with local arts charity, Artsite, Wrong Shoes have transformed the former Post Office building into an affordable fringe theatre and rehearsal venue, for use by theatre companies, artists, performers and musicians.

SHOEBOX MINIS
Classes for ages 4-6, which encourage students to have fun with drama. Our Mini classes build confidence and creativity through imaginative play and theatre games.
... When: Saturday mornings, 9.30am-10.20am. Cost: £65 per 10-week term (£6.50 per session to be paid per term in advance)
SHOEBOX JUNIORS
Classes for ages 7-10, which focus on building confidence, exploring drama techniques and theatre making through fun, yet challenging workshops.
When: Saturday mornings, 10.30am-11.30am. Cost: £70 per 10-week term (£7.00 per session to be paid per term in advance)

Always wanted to try acting? Our ACTING FOR BEGINNERS classes start NEXT WEEK and this term we’re focusing on Comedy and Improvisation!
It's never too late to tread the boards! Our Beginners Acting Courses for Adults offer an introduction to acting in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Ideal for those with little or no acting experience, classes provide the chance to explore acting technique in a playful, accessible and practical way. Whether you are an aspiring performer;... wish to revitalise your creativity; or simply want to try something new and build self-confidence, you will find our classes fun and rewarding.
Our next beginners course starts on 25th April 2019 with Comedy and Improvisation. Explore comic techniques through playful improvisations and learn to find the game and to embrace your mistakes. You can expect exaggerated characters, slapstick humour, silly scenarios and lots of laughter!
