Shoreditch County Court

In 2 years second time I have a hearing booked but there is no hearing.
First time December 2016 the other party postponed it and the court didn't let me know... took time off work went there waited 2 hours to find out hearing was vacated.
Second time November 2017 waiting on a chair from 9.30am to 4pm ..."sorry we don't have time for your case it will be re-booked" ... when?? In another year time??
I believe we were the only case without solicitors so they decided to give our time slot to another case.
Lost pay at work and there is no compensation.
I thought Courts promote Justice!! No they don't they promote their own interest.
Don't feel like being in a civilized Country.
UK is becoming a third world country!!!

Wow - having looked through the comments I guess its a common theme. The guys dont answer the phone there is no clarity on dates. I have tried throughout the day for the phone to ring out. An when you do get through and your heart leaps for joy a little they hang up and crush the air out of you!!

Ringing for weeks and they don't answer the phone. I even tried 9am a few times with 3 different phones all ringing. Some of the phones, they picked up and slammed back down! This is so bad, people are missing court dates due to the administration. There is a person there who begins with Car.. and she is the rudest.

Outstanding court service, this should be an example to the whole country of how courts should be run! My calls were answered immediately and the judge (pictured) even gave me a lift home after the court hearing. You can't get any better than that ;)

Does this court actually exist? I have lost count on the amount of times I have called and been on hold every time for at least 30 minutes, and yet no information or answer. I have sent 6 emails from the 30th August requesting information about my up and coming court date, again no answer from the courts. You can not speak to anyone if you turn up at the courts so what do you do???

You can not talk to anyone, the line automatically cuts you off, why publish a number when you are not going to answer the phone?

No stars for this awful Court who never answer the phone, despite being on hold for several hours.

Phones rings continuously unanswered, just outgoing messages and cannot leave a voice message. No response to e-mails either just an a standard outgoing response. Extremely poor customer service.

They are helpful if you can ever get through to them. I just wish their answering machine gave more information like waiting time, place in queue etc. Instead having you hanging on. I have given up after waiting sometimes 30mins+

Each time I've rang the court, I've had to keep trying the number for a full day (genuinely between 9.30am - 4pm) as it just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing. It's INFURIATING.

Jhuti is the most incompetent person I have ever come across.
In November 2016 I filed my documents on time for my counter claim against my nasty landlord.
I call the court on the 28th November 2016 and was told by a member of staff that the file will be taken up to the judge in a few weeks okay I thought but when I called again in early December 2016 I was told the file has gone missing which they had known all along but lied constantly.
I then phoned them last Wednesday and was told my file has still not be located 2 months they lost my file and not even sorry anyway I threaten the manager with legal action and low and behold they find it the next day.
I called them that same day and would hope that they would take it up to the Judge no not this court the manager Jhuti I know tell me about it decides to hang onto my file for what he's taken an interest in my file only he knows I find it alarming and to be honest that he's deliberately delaying my file from being seen by a judge and is possible dishonest and could well know the other party.
I have sent the court another email this time out laying my issues with the court and unless this manager ceases his dishonest behaviour I will without further notice make a complaint to my MP and Sue him for 20K for tampering with my file and failing to give it to a judge to make a decision.
Idoits working at this court my 9 year old nephew could do better.
I am wondering if he doesn't like Jewish people as my name is Jewish and deliberately do this as who has ever heard of a court losing 30 pages????

Worst telephone line in the world spent 2 + hours trying to get through to nobody ,maybe Clerkenwell & Shoredtich Court should invest some of its HM revenue in to a" cup and string" for there reception desk. If Receive notice forum from Clerkenwell & Shoreditch Court ,just a bit of advice get a plane ticket far away as possible and RUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for your dearest life .

They defended an employment agency which do not pay money to people. Appealing against this decision. I do not think that judge seriously looked at the case.
I had absolutely the same case couple years ago and court was held in Canary Wharf. I was defended and this time case was dismissed and left me with an open mouth, because I couldn't believe what I have heard.
