After last nights amazing performance Jake Fletcher will be entertaining Slawit again this sunny evening from the Shoulder of Mutton loft. 🌞

This Thursday fishing for compliments are back at the shoulder of mutton

England live on 2 screens with speaker assisted sound. Free food at half time. Plus win a 48 " TV. Free raffle ticket with every pint bought during any game. Drawn on the Final of the World Cup. The more you buy the more chances to win.

Very good proper beer, sensational staff, smashing customers, HD TV (free raffle to win it), Dobly Sound, free half-time pizza and game of Subbuteo, England won the football. Nothing not to like! See ya Sunday! ⚽️😊🍺

Excellent choice of beers. Attentive staff. Good live music venue. Been a customer on and off for over 40 yrs

Decent Ale/drink selection, excellent selection of live music on Saturdays, jam night on Sundays, clean, warm, friendly (as long as you are), and they do a cracking Sunday lunch. What's not to like? Best pub in Slawit.

Called in on an off chance after a long day travelling from fleetwood to Huddersfield. Cold and hungry. The only meals they served were roast dinners.... and only on Sundays. However. The food that was served was gorgeous. I had roast lamb. It melted in the mouth. Fresh veg. Yorkshire pud. Roast and mashed potatoes. Gravy. Everything was piping hot and stayed that way. Tasty and plenty if it. The service was great and the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate any requests. I highly recommend this pub!!!! Fantastic! Thank you for everything.

After visiting a relative,and a long day of travelling from Fleetwood,stumbled across this hidden gem.

The staff are ever so accommodating.



Only food being served was Sunday roasts.and I can see why! Perfection �

I had chicken,which was nice and succulent.. along with a generous serving of mash,roast potatoes and mixed veg.



Food remained piping hot throughout all the meal.

I’d be tempted to travel every Sunday just for the roast alone



Thankyou so much for the hospitality and I will return at some point in the future �

A pint of Slaughtered Lamb is always great after a 140 mile drive. Every time I’m up there I try and get in for one.

Excellent range of well kept beer .Helpful eager staff.
