awesome breakfast great choice of everything you could want have been before and the bacon is cooked and kept hot turns out like a bit of ham not nice always better when cooked fresh and this time was fantastic recommend one of the best around

Went there yesterday lunchtime..Went in early and was greeted by a waiter that showed us to a nice table by the window..The place was not busy at the time.The waitress came and was excellent in telling us about the Meals..Our meals arrived quite quickly and were delicious..We also had desert that was also excellent..It did start getting busy when we left about 1.15pm..We could not fault this place..

Helen is the most amazing waitress and always makes the visit. Takes the time for customer service and is really interested, also Andy. The meal on this occasion was superb. Thank you VERY much for going the extra mile ! Even got the freezing cold air con turned off!

Have just spent the week camping and catering 40+ 11-18 year olds. My daughter and I have come in for breakfast and look a little bit scruffy and probably a bit smelly (not our usual demeanour!) and yet we’ve been treated like we’re the only ones there. Food was great too so thanks everyone (particularly the host by I didn’t get his name) for a relaxing morning before a 5 hour drive home �

Birthday celebration which went really well! Last night, table of 9, 6pm. A big thank you to our waitress for being a complete star, thank you so much - please pass this on to her (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name). See you again soon.

Went there yesterday. Although they were a bit understaffed (waiter phoned in sick) the busy waitress was very friendly and helpful. The veggie burgers we both had were the best I’ve had to date.

We had a very nice lunch, the food was very tasty and hot. Had there been any problems I would have directed them to the manager on duty straight away the waitress was excellent, everything was fine ,,,,,we will be back

Nice place, clean, friendly, fairly priced. It is what it is, if your looking for fine dining it's not for you. Great place to meet and eat with friends and family.

Not happy with having to wait 35 mins to wait for my hot food order to be taken. Watching 3 other tables who arrived at the same time order & eat most of their food. Trying to entertain 2 kids in this time & keep them away from the pastries so they eat their cooked breakfast is hard work for 35 mins!

On the upside food was good �

1st time visiting here, service wasn't great as were slow on getting water to our table and I had to ask at the bar in the end. Also didn't get order right but my meal hog roast Wellington was lovely. My dessert � was lush Eaton mess. X

Service was slow and didn't get the order right gave mushy peas instead of garden peas and no mango on the chicken and mango salad, asked for water at the table it never arrived so had to ask at the bar for it, had to wait ages for the puddings to come, wasn't very impressed and not up to their normal standards shame as the food is great when they get it right.

Really disappointing. Used to enjoy the food but today we wish we hadn't bothered. Jacket potato was more jacket than potato & slightly black inside. Chicken & bacon club sandwich was OK but nothing special. Had to wait longer than usual for food to arrive. Waitress was lovely but was run off her feet as they were short staffed, poor woman looked harassed but I couldn't fault her in any way. Just wanted to give her a hug.

My evening meal was great as was the service, but I have to question the cleanliness, as the stack of side plates this morning at breakfast where dirtier than my dog bowls, the one I eventually chose still needed a serviette on it before I would adorn it with my toast.

Well thank you very much for just ruining mine and my daughters Mother's Day breakfast!

It was 10:40am and breakfast finishes at 11am therefore we were there in plenty of time but no I'm told "today we finished at 10:30" No apology, nothing!

Correct customer service would have advertised this change to normal procedure!!

Oh and maybe spoken to us with some manners.

Walked in today with my partner and her elderly parents waited for over 5 mins to be seated ,after 5 minutes we decided to find our own table to then be rudely spoken to by the waitress being very sarcastic about us sitting down,when we said well we had been waiting for 5 mins she then stated well it's not her fault they're understaffed- well it's not our fault either,she then tried to frog March us back to the front door to wait,at this point I said don't worry we will go somewhere else ,she then got sarcastic again and proceeded to start an argument with us- very unprofessional and won't be returning ! This is the 2nd time the same waitress has been rude ,the 1st was when we had been overcharged and she didnt like us querying the bill and got rude again! Will not be returning after giving it a 2nd chance!

Really disappointed. Been here a few times before and always enjoyed it, but don't think I'll be returning after this visit. Half of the windowsill was missing, and the upholsertry on the chairs were all frayed and worn. The food was cold and as dry as a bone to the point where I couldn't physically couldn't eat it and the service was appalling.

I don't know what's happened within the last year or so since I visited, but the whole experience was extremely disappointing...

Paid a visit on Sunday evening 5.30 with my husband and 2 children. Was celebrating my husbands birthday.

Got drinks at the bar before we sat down.

Ordered our meals and then had to wait 50 mins for our food. The place was very quiet so goodness knows why the food took so long.

We received our meals after making a complaint to the manager only to find out the food was all barely warm!! The chips were bordering on cold. Called the manager back over and complained. He offered to get the order re done but as you can imagine we did not want to wait another 50 mins. We proceeded to eat the food Luke warm.

I also ordered the chicken and rib meal but had to wait another 10 mins for my piece of chicken to come out even though my daughter had the same meal!!!

I don’t know why this place is having so many issues. It’s a shame cos we visit several times a month! There doesn’t seem to be enough waiting staff. Our waitress was taking orders, delivering food to tables and waiting at the bar!!! I feel sorry for the poor waitresses.

Somebody really needs to get this place sorted out otherwise I can see it closing down.

The manager took all our main meals off the bill but it’s a shame it came to this.

Not sure we will return!!!

If I could rate 0 I would, worst meal I've had this year if not longer. The meal was half cold half warm, I've had better microwave meals. Nikki the waitress was the only good part of the whole experience.

Don't bother service awful even had to chase drinks six chips with fish and chips and manager thought that was ok fave us extra portion of chips whicgh arrived after we had finished eating main course bit late!!!!!!!!!!!
