Camp is a great place to strengthen your friendships, and make new ones! We love when groups come down to join us, why not see if your confirmation group, youth group and altar servers want a week of fun? Young people come from all over, nationally and internationally, to camp so don’t worry if you don’t know anyone else going, camp is full of friendl...y faces!
It can be hard as a teenager sometimes to let down walls and just be yourself, summer camp makes this easy. There’s no pressure to look a certain way, act a certain way, be a certain person… You are welcomed just as you are! After a week full of authentic fun, fellowship and faith you’ll leave with friendships that will last well after you’ve left camp.

We've been working with a wonderful group of students from St Mary's Catholic College, Wallasey this Holy Week.
They performed a powerful drama and lead us in reflections in assemblies for each year group, they did a great job getting us ready to celebrate the Triduum 🙏

Jesus washed the disciples feet, now we are called to wash each other’s feet. Let each one of us become evermore humbled by the acts of Jesus this holy week, let each one of us follow him just as he wanted us to.

Today in the Diocese of Shrewsbury we celebrate the Chrism Mass. Bishop Mark will bless three oils – the oil of catechumens, the oil of the infirm and Holy Chrism – these will be used for the administration of the sacraments through the diocese this year.
We hear oils being mentioned in scripture many times for instance in Psalm 23:5 “You anoint my head with oil,” signifying strength from the Lord.

In today's readings (John 12:1-11) we hear the story of a woman anointing Jesus' feet with expensive oil, pointing towards His death. This was an extravagant act of love shown towards Jesus.
It got us thinking, what are we willing to give to Jesus out of love? It could be serving others, spending time in prayer, receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation...
