Having fun at our annual Spooky party. Both nurseries enjoyed some spooktacular activities with our dedicated nursery staff dressing up for the part too. Look who came for a visit to the nursery today .... thank you so much Tyne and Wear Fire & Rescue Service #twfrs #staysafe. The children loved meeting the crew and squirting some water from the fire hose.

It's that time of year again! 🎃🐿 squirrels absolutely love pumpkin.🐿🎃 Instead of throwing your pumpkin away after Halloween why not put it at the bottom of the garden or take to your local woods/park? 🐿🎃🎃🎃🎃 Imagine how much wildlife could be fed with the millions of pumpkins that are thrown away! Not just squirrels but birds,hedgehogs, badgers,foxes! Especially now when there is less of an abundance of food for wildlife leading up to winter 🎃🎃🎃

Look what Kate has picked up for us .... see if you can spot them in nursery next time you come in. We are planning lots of things with our special pumpkins.

We are supporting Grace House - one of our local chosen charities to support in the next few months. After speaking with Karen at Grace House we cant wait to help out. Please see Kate, Emma or Joanne to buy some raffle tickets. Be quick as we only have until 4th November. £1 per ticket but look at the prizes....

I’d really love to get back into netball but it’s years since I’ve played. Who would join in and come along? Starting next week .... anyone fancy it?

Spiders in the cobwebs; the children used tweezers to get them out and then counted them into the cauldron. A brilliant activity for hand/eye coordination, counting, colour recognition and sorting too.

We are hoping to make something like this for the nursery garden. We have the pallets but in need of all the other bits and pieces to make this wonderful sound station. If you have anything at home you’d like to donate for us to use, please bring them in for Kate.

Half term holidays next week! We hope our term time only children have a great time off ....... for everyone else who will be at nursery; there’s lots being planned for next week at both nurseries. Have a brilliant weekend x

Well done to everyone who joined in our Wear it Pink walks. We had beautiful weather and a great turn out. Thanks to everyone who came into nursery with their grown ups too! Thank you for the very generous donations that have already been sent into nursery - please collect a sponsor form if you haven’t already. We will be collecting in donations until the end of next week.

Do you want to do an Autumn hunt at home? Collect one of our special bags from nursery and see what you can find....

Using magnifying glasses to look for worms in the house we made for them. We could see the leaves moving so we knew they were wiggling underneath.

This week we have been talking about how to keep ourselves healthy. We have also been looking at our hands under a UV light to see how clean they really are!

The baby unit and nursery children played together exploring the soapy foam.
