Sidewalk and Morgan Spice made our night Saturday 20.05.17. Me, my future wife and friends decided to have our hen do on hurst street after visiting a few bars and being made to feel extremely uncomfortable for being female we ended up in sidewalk as it was the only bar with a good atmosphere, decent music, decent drinks and a crowd. Morgan made a fuss of us and got everyone up for a dance and gave us a night to remember. Thankyou.

Sam, Brad and Jordan are very friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for more.

Nice to have a peaceful drink decent food and cheery staff ! Stock up on the rhubarb gin 😉

Had a incident yesterday outside and the staff was brilliant with out a doubt!

Also 1 of your bar staff Nicky should receive a award for how friendly and helpful she is, every time I have been in sidewalk she is always friendly and helpful, it's nice to see friendly bar staff! 🖒🖒

Very nice venue with friendly staff along with good offers such as 2 for 1 cocktails!

Awesome venue, great prices, nice staff, good music and always a nice atmosphere. However the music in the seating area (to the left of the bar adjacent to the main windows) is far too loud. You literally have to scream for your voice to be heard.

The bar has declined with its service & quality in food and drinks of recently, however the deals with food and the location & space is fantastic, I've been going there for a while now since before this past renovation and they used to really work on your drinks and give you tasty food, atmosphere and space like I said is good but drink/food & staff wise it's definitely declined so I often find myself and friends drinking next door, sure it's a smaller space but it's how do you say, a homely atmosphere & the drinks are as good as the service. You can get all kinds of food from just walking a lil bit up the street.

When you order peppercorn sauce and get given black pepper and hot water! Fire your chef!

I’ve visited this bar numerous times over the past 15 months. As of late I have noticed, as have others, a distinct decline in the quality of service. The last few visits I have to say the staff were inattentive to customers at a quiet time of the day /early evening. They have on a few occasions walked past me waiting at the bar to talk to each other. They are huddled sometimes in one corner of the bar chatting to each other or at the back of the bar paying no attention to arriving or waiting customers.



When they finally notice me they all seem unable to understand a simple order for drinks or serve it in warm / damp glasses.

I might as well order food in mandarin. The level of professionalism, customer service and friendliness have disappeared. Unfortunately they do not seem to understand that they need to make the customer feel like they want to return rather than go elsewhere. I hope some staff training and customer care is instigated.

It's gotten more expensive for drinks, the food isn't that good, the staff are rude, they don't seem to care about the customer anymore, if it wasn't for my friends who we us there we wouldn't go

Dropped in for a quick bite before an O2 event. Asked bar staff how long food orders where at present as we had a deadline. Told 15 mins and after 30 mins we had to ask where food was. The quality was awful. Put my fork in the rice and it lifted up in a sausage shape! My partners burger bap was also hard. We had no time to complain after the late arrival of food. Prices are low and that's why we had an over microwaved couple of meals. The bar was fairly empty at this time also. Maybe chef was out back refilling sex lube machine and forgot cooking times!

We went for a drink to celebrate my husbands birthday, quietly sitting outside enjoying the atmosphere when suddenly a very rude member of staff told us he was literally taking our table away! We thought ok not to much of a problem but then told us he wanted our chairs as well!! There were other people on other tables that were not asked for theirs. We were totally shocked by what had happened we tried to find out from the management but was told they were to “busy” disgusting treatment I can only imagine it’s because we are two 60 year old straight people!

Quite shocked by the poor level of customer sevice and poor attitude.

Cocktails are rather poor also.
