Sight And Hearing Loss Support - Shropshire Rcc

The Sight and Hearing Loss Service offers support across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin to people who are affected by Sight or Hearing Loss.

The Sight and Hearing Loss Support Service at Shropshire RCC provides support in a number of ways. Over 30 trained hearing loss support volunteers provide practical assistance, peer support and information to people with hearing loss through home visits, care home visits and through volunteer led hearing aid repair clinics. In addition our volunteers support audiology led clinics, the See Hear bus and our Effective Hearing Programme. The EHP’s are delivered across Shropshire and Telford for individuals and their family or friend support to find out more information about the ear, hearing loss, support and communication through a half-day course. Sight loss support is also offered through telephone and email as well as four county-wide support groups who meet for peer support, friendship, activities and information.
