Fabulous service from start to finish ! Darrin welcomed us and then left us to have a good look around with absolutely no sales pressure ! When we purchased the vehicle Darrin gave us a very fair trade in for our old car and also included a 3 month warranty on the new one. The day after we took the car we had a minor problem and Darrin arranged for the car to be fixed the same day ! Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us complete peace of mind and confidence that he would resolve the problem ! 30 minutes after returning to the showroom the car was fixed and we were on our way home. We would highly recommend Silver birch motors to anyone looking for a quality car at a fair price with no pressure sales. We are extremely happy with our car and the service we received from Darrin so much so that another family member purchased their new car from Darrin a few weeks later and again they were very impressed with the service he provided.

Darrin was really helpful & friendly. Found the perfect car for me, fully serviced and for a great price. Service was fantastic, would highly recommend silver birch motors!

Darrin was a spot on trader, the motor had afew issues on inspection, putting a deposit down he assured me all work would be completed, which was and to a good high standard, he also had some extra things sorted that he knew niggled me aesthetically, we negotiated a price and a week later I took the keys,

I can also say Darrin went above and beyond when the situation got sticky , the car purchased was defective upon afew miles going home, going into limp mode with engine management light and glowplug light, the thoughts that go through your mind was daunting and scary.

the issue was the exhaust gas recirculation cooler, repair work was to the cost of £800, quoted by a Skoda dealership,

Darrin was very reassuring which was comforting in such a situation, even when the warranty company contribution nearly paid for the work Darrin insisted he wouldn't let me be financially impacted either way.

He wasn't at all put off that I went to skoda as maybe some traders may have been given cost of work.

He was allways there in the form of communication whether it was txt or call and was genuinely allways putting himself out of the way to make me feel like a valued customer,



From my purchase I learnt you can't allways be sure you'll get lucky with a car, but what you want is peace of mind when shit hits the fan , Darrin is your guy . I highly recommend Darrin based on his customer service attitude and moral's he's a good bloke and one you should buy your next car from because I will.

Bought a white 2010 Ford Fiesta back in January and was so pleased with the condition it was in when I first saw it I knew I wanted it, it was very well presented and Darrin was wonderful in helping me with anything I wanted to know about the car making sure we had all the information to hand. He was so friendly and accommodating I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone in need of a car.

Bought a great car from Darrin. Had a very minor issue and he sorted straight away. Very helpful, very decent, was a pleasure doing business with him. Next time I'm looking to change my car I'll go back to him first.

5* isn't enough for the treatment I received nothing was too much hassle for Darrin, we were even in contact while he was in holiday. Absolutely love my touareg. Will always miss my volvo tho � make sure she goes to a good home. Thanks again for everything.

Very disappointing experience. I explained to Darrin that I was traveling from the North East of England, a 3 hour trip. I rang him on the morning and secured a 3PM appointment. Regardless of my situation, Darrin obviously arranged another viewing without informing me in any way. As I was approaching the Midlands I got a text saying he had sold the car. This cost my wife and me a half day holiday and half a tank of petrol, not to mention the disappointment of loosing the car. A gentlemen, or professional, would had delayed the second viewing pending the outcome of the first. Not recommended

Drove down from northeast to view a car coming up 2 years now. Everything seemed ok with it. Test drive etc.



Not long after buying it, we started encountering problems. It wasnt major initially, just the tray that sits under the engine wasnt attached properly so came detached and scraped along a motorway. Darrin fixed it, great.



Then, barely 2 months in, the exhaust pipe literally falls off and cant be driven. This time its 10pm, 1 hour from home in some very dark country lanes.



Immediately I told darrin what had happened, he basically said "sorry, nothing we can do now"'



Immediately I get into a dispute with the finance company, who do next to nothing.

Then I get the financial ombudsman involved, but, because I couldnt prove the faults existed when buying it, and I wasnt going to pay out for loads of tests, I get a measely £80 refund.



So now im left paying for a sh1tbox that I know has faults, goes through oil like you wouldn't believe, I dont like it, dont want it, dont trust it, but im still having to pay for it.



Darrin, you deserve these 1 star reviews because you are a cow boy. You dont give a fuss about the safety of your customers and once money is in your pocket, you believe your responsibility ends their. You ought to read up on the sales of goods act, although, considering you systematically get away with screwing people over, why would you stop?
