Where to start, well how friendly everyone is, food is top notch, had lamb chops with Spanish style kidneys tonight, beautiful. Just love this place .

We're had a lovely weekend came on Friday from Stafford to try out the nature reserve at Leighton moss had lovely breakfast and we chosen rib eye steak for evening because it was to nice that booked our next evening meal as well the rooms are clean and tidy and everyone was very welcoming with smile made you feel at home as I'm very shy at times your also allow to bring your pet as it was lovely to notice that all dogs were so well behave definitely coming back to stay next year john and lisa

We were camping in the area and stumbled across this pub. Lovely staff. Great garden. We stayed for dinner. Great food. We will be back.

We went just for an evening meal. Superb pies! Homemade and nice thin pastry.

Fish pie also was really good, lots of fish with a tasty sauce topped with mash. Yummy! The rasberry sorbet was very fruity and light in the most lovely pink glass retro dish.( pic ? ) Altogether really enjoyable and a great atmoshphere. Can't really find a fault!

We had a 3 night stay and the room was lovely, comfy bed, everything we needed. The breakfast was very nice and we can really recommend the restaurant and bar. Hope to be back.

We booked for Sunday lunch, and you need too because it gets very busy! We had a wonderful meal here, we will definitely be back again.

The food was fabulous and we were given such a warm welcome for all including the dog. All staff so pleasant and helpful.

The food was fab the Moroccan lamb pie was so tender my husband is still raving about it.

All the staff and managers where friendly.

And they are dog friendly.

Thank you for being very attentive to the lady I support and seating her where she felt more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the Moroccan Stew and Sweet Potato Wedges was delicious! Your staff were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to visit again soon.

Really nice hotel with traditional features. Run by really nice people serving great food especially the full breakfast. Nice comfortable bar area serving special ales and Moretti lager.

Popped in on our walk round Silverdale with the dogs. Only had light bites, but food was exceptional and service friendly. Best salad ever! Dog friendly hotel too. Would definitely return when back on the Lake District.

Popped in during Boxing Day lunchtime, although no food was being served we stayed for drinks & enjoyed our time immensely. The welcome was most friendly.

Thoroughly recommend a visit too for any real-ale fans (like me), I tried the Jennings Snecklifter & Ringwood Porter dark beers, both were in splendid form.

On the reccomendation from the stewardess at Gibralter farm campsite we walked down for lunch and from the friendly staff to the excellant food we could not fault it and will certainly be back if in the area again

Just returned from a two night stay Warm welcome from staff nothing too much trouble Had a twin room very clean and comfortable Good choice for breakfast can recommend the full English Had a meal with the family last night great menu list food delicious and portion sizes big don't make the mistake as we did and order extra sides Would definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone either staying or just dining at this hotel

It’s the most dog-friendly pub I’ve been in and they know how to look after their two-legged visitors as well. Lovely warm welcome and top food. What more do you need.

It's very rare a band gets looked after as well as that in the U.K. The hotel is warm and inviting like the personalities of the people waiting on you. I fail to see why anyone could ever wish to stay anywhere else.

Had fantastic lunch staff were fantastic took my nan who has severe alzheimers and dementia and they were great very patient .food was lovely to . Well done i will be returning

Great family and dog friendly pub in Silverdale. Beer garden is in lovely spot for sitting out on summers eve. Recommend heartily traditional pub food. Glad we found here as will be our local whilst we're on holiday. Definitely coming back.

From the time you step in to the hotel you are welcomed with open arms. The owners and staff have got this wonderful hotel spot on. The hearty breakfast is the perfect start to set you on your way exploring the lovely surroundings and then dinner and a chilled drink in the evening finishes off your day just nicely. Fantastic homely food, lively atmosphere and best of all good beer!! They were fully booked but the kind front of house lady managed to squeeze us in.

Caroline and Richard and all the staff are amazing hosts. Stay with my son after playing the local golf course. Couldn't get a taxi to arnside so Richard drove us in his own car and offered to pick us up. Food is great and the choice of real ales is good. Highly recommend.

Caravaning at Gibraltar Farm, the Silverdale Hotel has a 'I want to go back' atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff, lovely food and ale's. They made a big fuss of our Saluki whippet poppy, it's a real bonus when your traveling to be able to take your dog with you.

Came here for a pre booked Christmas lunch early December, really enjoyed it so booked for new years eve, had a brilliant night but you need to come early, great buffet for the price really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend Silverdale hotel to anyone. � � � � �

Came here for a meal last night to celebrate a joint birthday, absolutely loved it. Staff were brilliant from the minute we stepped through the door, so friendly and welcoming. Very convenient to all of our needs. Food was delicious and a good array of choices. Very pleased with our experience here, would and will be recommending to anyone and everyone.

A very warm welcome from Richard and Caroline. The food is lovely and they cater very well for dietary needs. The Burns Night Supper is one not to miss next year. Great fun.
