Hello…

My name is Simon Scott, but you can call me Scotty.

I'm an established carpenter and house fitter with many clients around the Berkshire area (and some further afield) who employ me on a regular basis to create bespoke household carpentry and interiors.

I also have a team that that specialise in interior fitting and general maintenance for all residential and industrial properties.

We always turn up on time. We ensure that your home is always clean and looked after when we are working inside it. We are fully insured. We always come to work with a smile. Most importantly, we bring our own tea bags.

We believe in doing every job to the best of our ability and to the highest standard. On time, in budget and finished only when you're one hundred percent satisfied.

If you're not happy, I'm not happy. I want you to tell everyone we did a very nice job. It's as simple as that.

How I work…

Every piece of woodwork I create is unique. Unique to the person who commissions it - as they have their own ideas and thoughts on it's style. But it is also unique to the property, because almost every home has it's own shape and character.

The first step in employing me is to request a home visit. An in situ consultation enables us to have a face to face conversation about exactly what you need and lets me see the space you want to transform. It means i can give some honest and informed advice and helps me provide you with an accurate quote.

When you flick through glossy design magazines, like House & Garden or World of Interiors, you'll see many awe inspiring styles and showpieces that are probably out of your budget - designer items can be eye wateringly expensive straight from the high street.

But you should know that with a little imagination, creativity and a few tricks of the trade, (and the services of me) you can create a room straight out of Ideal Home for a fraction of the cost - A new take on a classic piece of furniture, interesting wall finishes such as pebble tiling or antique effects, faux architectural beams or glasswork - the list is endless. These are all things i can do for you.
