Sorry for the radio silence lately, I’ve been using my spare time to plan my own wedding over the weekend! And yesterday I said #yestothedress at the beautiful The Bridal Lounge of Accrington!!
I can not recommend Lee at the lounge highly enough! I’d been to a couple of shops before heading here and believe it or not, Lee was the only shop to offer us a brew! She gave me the full bridal experience I’d been dreaming of since I was a little girl and her knowledge is second to n...one! The dress I’ve chosen isn’t one I picked out for myself, it’s one Lee chose for me, proving you should always listen to the experts!! Plus once I’d chosen my dress Lee surprised me a little thank you gift 💝

Last night I attended the EVA Awards where my little business was a finalist in the Best Small Business Category. Although I didn’t win I was absolutely honoured to be in the company of so many inspiring and amazing women and had a fab night celebrating women in business!

So a few months ago I attended my interview for the Eva Awards in the Best Small Business category. Today voting opens which could be the deciding factor in my award fate!!
When the judges scores are either tied or within a margin of just 2% between finalists the votes received are added and will decide the winner. No one judge has the overall power to decide the winner.

Joanne dressed our wedding venue for us in March this year, and what an incredible and amazing job she did! She provided such an outstanding service from start to finish and was so professional. Joanne stepped in quite late on as our previous supplier ceased trading. We were obviously quite worried about the impact this would have as we had arranged the venue dressing months before and we thought it was all sorted.



We had an initial meeting with Joanne at her shop and she was extremely welcoming and friendly and totally put our minds at ease. She was so knowledgeable and experienced and explained she could replicate everything we had asked for with our previous supplier and at the same competitive price.



When we saw the venue on the wedding day we were totally blown away! The room looked stunning. We were over the moon with all the arrangements. Everything was delivered exactly on time and set up beautifully. Every attention to detail was made and nothing was missed. Joanne made sure everything was perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests in relation to the decorations. The service we received from Joanne was amazing and so personalised. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us to make the lead up to our wedding and our wedding day perfect. I would highly recommend her.
