had a Groupon for a Meze. it was excellent. massive starter and different means in the main course. couldn't finish it all. I ordered a bottle of the house wine it was the best wine iv had been looking for a bottle to buy since! great service and nice atmosphere. Only criticism is that the tzasiki wasn't what I would call real Greek tzasiki which was disappointing

Went here yesterday with my daughter for the first time, we had a voucher for the meze! Where do I start, as soon as they found out my daughter only ate chicken they went out of their way to make sure she had enough to eat, which wasn't difficult as there was so much food. The whole experience made us feel we were back in Greece, from the very friendly staff, that atmosphere, music and the delicious food. It may of been our first visit but it certainly won't be our last

We went for the 3 course special starter main course and coffee ,I couldn't finish mine the portions were big but very nice .

We had the Christmas menu on December 1st - £25 per head. Excellent value, excellent food, great service and plenty of time to eat the many and varied courses. If you fancy something different to turkey dinner - book you wont regret it!

The service was amazing the food was delicious over the moon with everything felt very welcome and fed like a queen all of the food was 5 star well worth a visit I will be back soon xxx

Never been to a greek restaurant before and im not one to try new things but this was a great find. Food was excellent,staff was friendly. Loved it.

My favourite restaurant in the whole of Newcastle, I have eaten here more times than in any other restaurant in the Toon. Food is perfect, staff brilliant and atmosphere fantastic.

First visit tonight for my wife’s birthday. The food was so nice man. The staff are genuinely nice people and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely going back soon. 10/10 from us.

First time we experienced simply Greek last night, ordered 2 chicken gyros kotopolo pita wraps. Came to just under £10 and that first bite oh my god it was like being in Greece again! Highly recommended!

We drove 35 mins to get to this place last night but by George it was worth it! We will be booking a Table and will be returning next Friday but actually sitting in to eat, we had takeout last night � I'd give a Michelin star if I could!

Been to Simply Greek at least 6 times now - every time we’ve been more than happy - we’ll presented lovely tasting food- fab service from all staff, and the restaurant is very clean & well decorated. Definitely will be returning. Also Greek musicians - only thing missing is sand & sun �. Highly recommend a visit. Xx��

Been here a few times and I absolutely love it. Most recently I came on a Friday evening and there were some great live musicians playing which made for a lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious as always - I had halloumi sxaras starter and then kleftiko main course. Everything always tastes really fresh and authentic and I almost felt like I was in Greece. To top it off the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend this restaurant.

We have just been to simply greek for our 3rd visit and we simply love the place, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere especially when the live Greek music is on.

Yes you do have to wait a little until your food comes but at least you know that the food is being cooked fresh and the portions are huge and very reasonably priced, it was lovely when they sang happy birthday to our son.

We have no complaints and will definitely be back.

Our go to place in Newcastle when we want great food and friendly staff. It's just changed hands, and the menu has expanded, but it's still just as much fun, and good value.

Truly poor, used to be top notch but regrettably not the same now, maybe as we were really early? Food bland, some clearly microwaved, even the wine was very poor, over cooked pasta, fatty pork, tasteless meatballs, dry chicken and a sausage type thing that was like rubber (microwaved). Had been for my old mans 70th few yrs ago and was lovely...downhill in a serious way since. Explained the issues to staff (very attentive and pleasant). But didn’t really care. Should have had a dominoes...

Food wasn't great. Usually go to one few doors up but thought we would try this place. Wish we hadn't tbh. Restaurant was full (not as in can't see!) of smoke from cooking meat in kitchen, I felt like I stunk remainder of evening. Food wasn't great, luke warm. Spent more on drinks than food! Bread to start was burnt. Won't return. Service was great though.

Just got our meals delivered from just eat meat was like rubber feta salad for the price one slice of feta 2slices of tomato and pepper really poor food quality not a cheap meal either very disappointed well not be ordering again wish I had looked at reviews first
