Had a car boot sale today. We were promised fine weather but it didn't happen. Freezing cold. Both daughter and I lost feeling in our hands and feet. Lots of stalls not so many buyers probably because of the cold. Made £43 20 plus float. So with the £65 already made we will be sending £115 to the Gambia.

Sent £200 to our friend Fallu in Gambia which will go towards constructing classroom furniture. The exchange rate into dalassi means it was 1200 dalassi. We still have a float of £29 90 for the next car boot sale plus £10 left over. It would cost additional fees to send more than £200. For such a small amount it's not worth it . Thanks again to our friends and relatives in Wiltshire who raised £33 at their car boot sale. Les hope the good weather continues as it puts people in a good mood for buying.

User
