It was giant cream tea day today. Another mad, busy day. Special thanks to jay Dicken and danni stead who worked their little socks off due to being short staffed 😢

We have some really lovely and thoughtful customers here at the singing kettle. How lucky was milo to receive this from a very lovely little girl and her just as lovely grandparents. Thankyou Sophia xxx

A record number of cream teas served in one day. Hope all our lovely customers enjoyed the delicious home made scones. A massive thank-you to our two youngest and newest recruits Emily gill and Alyssia Mcdade who really stepped up to the mark today. The future team of the singing kettle is whistling a great tune 🎶🎵🎶

The singing kettle is now offering a steaming cup of bovril to warm the cockles. Along with our other winter warmers. Soup, curry and piping hot corned beef hash. 😀

We had a really lovely time having a lunchtime snack here. Can't understand anyone posting negative reviews on here as we found the owners very accommodating and welcomed all six adults our 2 year old and two babies. The tea cakes were delicious. We didn't want to leave!

Was invited here for a friend's birthday tea and very glad we went. The owner and staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Had a cream tea which was amazing. Definitely recommend this place

Such a cosy atmosphere in this lovely place. Amazing cakes , and food is all so fresh! Staff make you feel so welcome!!

Perfect afternoon tea for two. This is a very traditional sweet little tea shop. Was so lovely and the scone was fresh and still warm!!

Lovely place and welcoming staff, the cakes are delicious , i understand the owner is a master pastry chef.....well ...it shows.

Came up to Dartmouth with my friends for a weekend and, in a funny turn of events, the place we'd been told to go was closed and seeing the sign for the Singing Kettle we thought "what the hell" and popped in. Best decision ever! The staff were lovely, the food was amazing and I've never enjoyed a milkshake so much (I had two because they were ridiculously delicious). Even when I couldn't finish all of my Victorian Sponge cake, wonderful though it was but I had ordered maybe too much, the lovely lady who served us found us a box so I could finish it with my evening tea later (and it was still just as delicious). So thank you Singing Kettle for adding to an already lovely weekend, would highly recommend anyone going to Dartmouth to pop in, even if it's only for the milkshakes!

My coeliac daughter and I had a GF cream tea here. We were so relieved to see my daughter didn't miss out, like she normally has to. They also had soya milk. Cafe was inviting a prettily decorated. Well done The Singing Kettle!
